Darly Hunt

Darly Hunt started as a talented dancer and singer in a Fresian barbarian tribe. At the age of 17, she wanted to seek her fortune and see the many fabulous lands she'd only heard about in traditional songs. After a sad departure from her family and beloved brother Ryx Hunt, she traveled with roaming minstrels to Petera. There she was very much in her element, but her unfamiliarity with local traditions landed her in trouble with the authorities. To placate the magistrate, she joined a state-funded training camp for soldiers (an encouraged activity among young adults given the many wars going on throughout the world). There her skills caught the eye of a professor at Peteran University and she was accepted to train there instead. With years of practice and careful study under the masters, she was accepted to learn the mysterious arts of the Shadowdancers.

After that point, Darly was believed to have traveled widely and assisted the Peteran government with various tasks. At the university's request, though, she returned every winter to train promising new students.

In 948 FI, she received a desperate letter from her brother (now the tribe leader) seeking her immediate assistance with an emergency that threatened her homeland...
