Description

You sense the presence of guilt or remorse in the target creature. This spell in no way reveals the source or nature of that guilt, only its magnitude in the individual. A sociopath may feel no guilt about cold blooded murders, while a scullery maid might torture herself about the one time she stole a few copper. Good creatures typically feel greater guilt than neutral creatures, who feel more guilt than evil creatures.

A creature must have at least a 3 intelligence, 1 wisdom, and 1 charisma in order to feel guilt at all.

Faint: Has occasional pangs of guilt

Moderate: Stomach-churning guilt, worries about what happened

Strong: Loses sleep over what happened, obsesses over it

Overwhelming: Wants to take rash actions to avoid feeling the guilt.
