Fenn Lynrick is the former Captain of the Wydmoor merchant district for Edrell Odenthorpe's City Guard. Lynrick is a relative newcomer to Wydmoor, and was appointed by Edrell when he assumed the Sheriff's office. He is fairly lax about enforcing laws in the merchant district, particularly in regards to collecting taxes for the Mayor and preventing smugglers. In fact, he is rumored to be an active smuggler and ally to Wydmoor's organized crime organizations. However, he does an excellent job curbing beggars, burglaries, and muggings in the merchant district, and is relatively popular.

After the Wydmoor Fire of 1400, and the subsequent breakdown in relations between the Thieves' Guild and Edrell Odenthorpe, Fenn was exposed as an operative for the Thieves' Guild, although what rank and influence he holds in the organization is yet unknown. He is currently acting as the Thieves' Guild liaison in the War Room, and has promised to assist in supplying the city through his smuggling channels once the Silverwalkers are able to deal with the Orc/Lizardfolk/Dragon Turtle problem.

Fenn Lynrick

Personality Profile (From Germain's Notes)

Fenn appears to be a relentlessly upbeat and positive individual, quick with a smile or joke. He also seems to be tremendously lazy, self-serving, and undisciplined, although his long chain of successes in the name of his organization suggest that some of these traits are perhaps elaborate ruses. However, this friendly demeanor covers a wary and cunning mind, as well as a uniquely sadistic sociopathy. Fenn's true nature is as unpredictable and dangerous as it is relentless and remorseless. Fenn takes joy in using needlessly horrific acts of violence to shock, unsettle, horrify or intimidate others. Additionally, Fenn is a talented and absolute opportunist, quickly seizing any opportunity to associate himself with other's successes. Fenn's ultimate loyalties are unknown, although he has consistently and successfully advanced Guild interests, through which he has gleefully attracted the ire of the Silverwalkers.
