AACHENVELDT, Fresia Imperial City, Summer 1402 -

Cake and Punches!

• Throughout the city a bill posted seeking "brave and reckless souls" and offering punch and pie.

Throughout the city the following bill has been posted

• All pcs and a bunch of npcs make their way to the church where no cake and punch is immediately obvious

• 

• An old woman steps to the dais and addresses the crowd and introduces Meldt, a tall, solid-looking human in soldier's breastplate. The crowd is not buying what he's selling; they are too afraid of monsters or Green Flu, many of them leave, and it becomes obvious that many of the remaining are here for the refreshments.

• The promised cake and punch is served, but there is not enough to go around which leads to rush and pushing and shoving which becomes worse when Orson's big cat comes over. Dohrn asks around for more information about the hosts and Bel manages to quickly grab some cake despite the crowd which proceeds to quickly devour the cake, break dishes, and start at least one fist fight.

• The old woman and Dohrn try to talk to the crowd to little effect then Theo attempts to calm the crowd, but a ghost sound followed by a 1 on a diplomacy roll results in the crowd becoming even further agitated and some begin panicking. Dohrn is shocked and in danger of being trampled.

• Another attempt to bring order fails and the old woman and soldier go to leave out a door behind the stage. Mell tries to grapple Meldt but the large man avoids it.

• Bel's lie of free food and drink convince most of the crowd to leave.
