Period of Rebirth

This is the 2nd Period of the Standard Calendar. In the year, it coincides with the beginning of Spring, and so its festivals carry themes commonly associated with life, greenery, and renewal. Among Alexandrians, this Period is seen as the time to make amends for old grudges, or to rekindle old friendships. For most in the North, the beginning of this Period is the time of planting, although colder climes further to the South may not sow until Verdant is well underway.

Follows Heavenfall and is followed by Verdant.
