Made more clear as per something pointed out by Mattie. I might go back and add to his stubs once he stubs out the two supplicant periods. Whee!

Also, some of those are cheap ass stubs. Like "Soundburst."
Yeah, gotta say that mirroring SRD content without homebrew additions makes for pretty weak stub tea. Contrast with Lizardfolk. -slith

Shut the Track up, Slitherr. So glad this turned into some sort of ridiculous contest. If you wiki peeps have an intent or guideline for stubs, please post them in the Category page or fill in someone who isn't Slitherr or MattA. I'm just trying to wing it based on examples and what is useful for me. I stubbed month names so I can link them from quest note timelines. I snagged Soundburst to link it to a quest note with the hopes to use it as an example for a spell page template. Feel free to ignore any Stubs which are not up to the (unpublished?) standards.

I really think you are misreading my tone up there, since that's obviously directed at me. I'm not auditing anyone's counts and I don't think you need to go full agro about a little teasing. "Ridiculous contest" is the furthest thing not only from achievements/wiki/etc's intent, but also spirit. I do not think standards are necessary for a too small even to call itself a committee. absalom 18:52, 3 February 2011 (EST)

Nah, Matt-- I didn't misunderstand your tone, I misunderstood Slitherr's. Your criticism was totally fine. What pissed me off was Slitherr piling onto a poor stub newb, but it makes total sense now that he thought he was giving MattA grief and didn't know he was beating up on a poor, defenseless paladin like me.

Also, spell template is awesome. I have so many dragon back issues to sift through! absalom 18:52, 3 February 2011 (EST)
I was actually hoping I didn't have any of those to avoid hypocrisy, but I'm glad you tracked that down (no pun intended). I'm pretty sure Jones was just poking fun, and I played along because, thanks to your IP sig, I though you were MattA, who I figure being pretty used to being ribbed by now. Stub guidelines on the category page are a good idea (and it looks like I've got at least one more stub I need to make to get back up to 59).
We're reasonable people! We can be talked to (well, maybe not Jones, he's crazy, but you probably already know that)! I apologize for any offense you might have taken. If there's any contest here, it's at least trying to be in the realm of good-natured competition, not nasty scrabbling to the top of some imaginary molehill. -Slitherrr

Makes so much more sense now! I knew it wasn't like you to lay on the grief randomly, and you were surely surprised to see MattA regress into really bad stubs. It came across to me as "Mattie, pshaw, the professor was right! Your first stubs totally sucked. Let me show you how it's really done, wannabe. ~rolleyes~ ~kick~".
And before you ask, no, I don't have any insecurities about anything at all. And also, no, this definitely hasn't been one of the most stressful weeks of my career. (Sorry about that.)

Sounds like you're still relevant, though! -gm
Also, just to clarify, I wasn't trying to toot my own horn or anything by linking Lizardfolk up there, it was just that my own stubs are the easiest things to remember if I'm pulling up examples. There wasn't any sort of, "haha fuck you" about it in the slightest. -Slitherrr
For the record, I think you are all unreasonable and ridiculous! --Msallen

I like this discussion because, as I read it, it is largely about me. --Msallen
