Team MeFight Fifty-Eighth Session

Between sessions

• Selected individuals and groups are all interviewed by Eyndredell, in the demi-library/demi-sitting room of his private demi-plane demi-house.
• The party all gathers in his demi-kitchen and takes some time to sync up.
  • There is a lot discussed, but the gist is this:
    • Eyn is a wild card, not particularly fathomable, but also a great leaping-off point for dealing with whatever they want to deal with next
    • Marwynn and Thed are leaving the party to pursue important things: Marwynn will "Be midwife to the Nia-Agliare's rebirth" and Thed has to track down his family in Hakan.
• Eyn appears at a narratively appropriate time, and more discussion ensues
  • A shitload is covered. Absent a full transcript, here are some highlights:
    • Entire party brought up-to-speed with the Mainland's state of affairs
    • Odessa's current course of action will dissolve whatever hold the Church currently has on world affairs, and plunge the entire continent into chaos
    • Hedrifax Kaine is pulling all of the Odessan strings. He is also supremely dangerous, and a lich.
    • Eyn's hypothetical "most constructive use of the party's time" would be to stop Odessa from winning its side of the Crusade. There are a variety of places the party could do violence to that would likely make this happen, with varying levels of difficulty.
    • He's as evasive about himself as usual, but the conversation mostly talks about world-shattering stuff anyway
• The party spends two days recovering and learning what they can from Edrell about whatever. They will spend a week in Nia-Agliare tying up loose ends, and then use that time to arrive at a decision on the next course of action.
• They are dropped off in Nia-Agliare, spend some time casing out the city
  • None man the gates
  • The Headsman's former demesne (the market district) has burned to the ground, leaving ruin and ash.
  • The Bog Wraiths have insulated themselves in their quarter, and are on obvious high alert.
• Kib, Thoven, Gil all spend the wee morning hours scouting out a safehouse while Tana and Anise gather the above information. In the morning, they will speak to the Hadriarch.
