Events

The Vault

• Discussed ideas and tallied potions. Total from what we scavenged:
  • 8 'remove disease'
  • 64 each of 'lesser restore', 'cure minor wounds', 'gentle repose'
  • An as-yet-un-enumerated pile of scrolls without the nice labeling of the potions
• Fiddled around with a Bag of Holding until determining that it was probably no safer to go across the threshold in it than not.
• Got Thed healed and buffed up, then had him dive through. He managed to survive at 4 HP, despite a horrific failure on his Reflex save, by just baaarely making the Fort save (DC 25, he made a 26).
  • On the plus side, Lightning Rod achieved!
• Shoved potions down his throat until he was as good as new (minus blindness)
• Made our way up a long corridor.
  • Thed held close to Kib and Tenpence
  • Got jumped by specials at the midpoint
    • Boomer ignited a horde, Gil popped that just to make sure everyone not covered in the initial puke got a coating(because it's only fair)
    • Thed got jumped on by a hunter (who just barely hit with the jump after Kib's Aid Another bonus, then failed the grapple), then tongue-lashed by a smoker
    • Kib spectacularly failed some trip attempts on the boomer before Gil decided to just coat everyone, and did some damage here and there
    • The group managed to dispatch the hunters quickly, then get to the smoker before Thed went all the way down
    • Thoven also took out 18 out of 20 common undead with two fire spells (fwoosh)
• Kept trucking down that hallway
  • Murdered a couple of clothing stores
  • Made our way to the end and found ourselves outside of the throne room

The group is now awaiting the big conclusion, a trip to the Throne Room and Sanctuary of Draglet Fortress, and hopefully a resolution of at least some of the mysteries they came in to solve.

Comment

Quite a piddling haul for Thed almost getting killed twice. Alexandria is a harsh mistress

Notes

• We should get a number for how many undead Anise has killed since adding them as a favored enemy (the level she got right as we entered Draglet Fortress). Her count is going to be slightly less than Thoven (who doesn't get kills as often, but gets whole groups when he does), and slightly more than Gil (who needs to get to range to kill, but basically instagibs when he does). She gets an achievement at 50!
  • GM Fiat rules that Anise will get this after next session, regardless of the actual number.
