There's some formatting that this new token kills... I might be able to fix it. -Slitherrr

Ok, I won't, then. -Slitherrr

Please let me tweak

Can you just point me to the page that is broken and I'll fix it? I've spent hours and hours on this today testing it and its variants in IE7/Chrome/Firefox, etc. There are very specific reasons it had to resort to tables against my will.

Just let me know where it's broken and I'll see if I can fix maybe? Mattie 23:16, 1 April 2010 (EDT)

Front page (if you remove the <p>'s). Didn't know you were still doing things, the timestamps on this server are GMT or something crazy. -Slitherrr

It appears that this template somehow interferes with the wiki's tendency to stick paragraph tags around things that are encased by double newlines. -Slitherrr

Interesting

Yeah, very odd. Seeing if I can think of a good way to avoid that-- the wiki does seem to be treating them specially that way. Mattie 23:29, 1 April 2010 (EDT)

Maybe fixed

Just started from scratch and it works better now in every browser I can find back to IE6. Thanks for pointing out the issue as revisiting this got it much, much cleaner than the iterative hacks. -Mattie 00:51, 2 April 2010 (EDT)

Glad to be of service, and yeah the span code is a lot easier on the eyes. I'm going to stick in a (white) background color--you'll notice on the main page that the PC icons in a pre tag (Kib Absold's the only one, currently) get the pre bg color. -Slitherrr
I normally don't like happy endings, but this one I dig. -gm
