Tenpence is a chestnut dun Fresian, with powerful lines and features. He has shown himself to be short-tempered and more than a little willful, but also fearless.

As a warhorse, he has been trained with the following tricks (the "Combat Riding" purpose): Attack, come, defend, down, guard, and heel.
