This is metagame, and offically "spoiler" territory, but not in any way that will impact any of the games from a play PoV. Also, since a lot of the Alexandria Story is absent from the wiki still because it's hard work and I keep putting it off, this serves as a nice rough sketch of the development of everyone's favorite Monotheistic Godhead. Well, maybe some people's SECOND favorite, which I suppose I can't begrudge.

Additionally, although a lot (most, actually) of Alexandria's life is unaccounted for in any reliable chronicle, the Canon of Orthodoxy does give some surprisingly detailed information about her early training. Or, actually, probably not surprising at all, as the Pre-Sojourn portion of the Stand's Adventures were all about gathering information and training. Generally speaking, before the Long Sojourn, the members of the Stand were significantly higher level than Alexandria and she acted as a ward or low-power cohort. Upon her return from the Long Sojourn, she was higher level than any of the Stand save Antioch and Marwynn, who both had unlocked (or at least hacked into) Obelisks. When Alexandria unlocked the White Obelisk, all bets are off in terms of estimating levels and powers.

<big>Alexandria's Life In Crunch and Fluff</big>
*C. Level 1: Commoner 1
**Alexandria, an orphan of unknown origin, is brought to Tragidore by an old Bard whose name I don't want to look up and raised.
**Around a decade later, around the age of 14, the shit with the Black Wyrm goes down. Tragidore is razed.
*CL 1: Rogue 1
**Commoner Level become Rogue
**Alexandria, along with the other Children of Tragedy, begin training under various members of the Stand while travelling to civilization.
**Once it becomes clear she is a target, early emphasis on stealth and resilience.
*CL 2: Ro1/Fighter 1
** Sterros, possibly worried that Alexandria is going to become a shiftless liar like Sayid, and definitely aware that Alexandria's final destiny would be martial in nature, insists that she also be trained to be a competent warrior.
*CL 3: Ro 2/Fi 1
** Her natural dexterity allows her to excel as being evasive. Begins to have disturbing, possibly prophetic dreams featuring a recurring bald gnome.
*CL 4: Ro 2/Fi 1/Ranger 1
** Kivan Half-Elven spends more time with an Alexandria torn between the competing agendas of Sterros and Sayid.
** Alexandria is inexplicably drawn toward the Scarlands and the Mountains of Gildenhome. The party detours on their way to Hakan City-State.
*CL 5: Ro 2/Fi 1/Ranger 2 (Bow)
** The Dark Naga are first encountered(?)
** The punishing terrain of the Scarlands, and the increasing acrimony between Sayid and Sterros pushes Alexandria closer to Kivan.
** Alexandria meets the gnome telepath Granger, who indicates Alexandria needs to stay with him to train and everyone else can go and continue whatever they were doing.
** Sayid and Kivan insist the decision is Alexandria. Personally, Sayid advises against it and Kivan advises for it. Sterros insists the entire situation is patently unacceptable.
*CL 6: Psionic Warrior 6
** Alexandria decides to stay and train, and eventually Sterros relents and leaves. (He insinuates in his own Testimonial there was a strong deal of Psionic compulsion involved.)
** Granger is kind of a major league ass-hole and grade-a racist, and she and him quarrel constantly
** Unlocks Hidden Talent feat, helps her unlock a couple of basic powers with Psychic Ciurgery (including Reformation, although she may not have realized it at the time because it was beyond her ability to access.)
** Granger puts her through a jacked-up psionic mindgrinder hoping a psion will come out the other side.
** What comes out instead is a new Alexandria - more focused, more serious, more confident, but also less emotional, less empathetic, and generally more aloof. Alignment Shift!
** What *also* comes out is a blindingly fast, preternaturally aware, ruthlessly lethal Alexandria where before there was a hodgepodge of skills, talents and priorities.
** Granger sends another set of disturbing dreams to the Stand, recalling them. He sends Alexandria away with him, indicating he realizes now he does not have the skills to give her the training she obviously requires. She is given a Knowledge (Psionic) psicrystal to help her develop.
*CL 7: Psionic Warrior 7
** Alexandria begins the slow process of being her own teacher.
** Sayid receives word of the death of his father, the disappearance of his brother, and the general collapse of his family's fortunes. He and Marwyn leave for Petara with Mikos Lygit, and the Halfblood Twins, the half-elf orphans grudgingly and rather inattentively warded by Marwynn. (They will stay with Sayid when Marwynn leaves to rejoin Alexandria. They will be killed during his campaigns.)
** Alexandria, Sterros, Mythrian and the remaining stand work for Antioch collecting and researching the Chronicles.
*CL 8: Psionic Warrior 8
** Alexandria and the Stand denounce and abandon Antioch after his botched attempt to enter the shadow realm and assassinate the Dark Lord.
** Now in possession of the most comprehensive collection of the Prophecies in existence, the Stand flees Hakan Free-City by sea and makes their way to the Free Poleis to drum up support for their cause.
** Word of the Prophecies and the rise of the Dark Oracles quickly spreads through the Free Poleis, many of them the dedicated seats of several Oracles of various gods. Accusations, Inquisitions, renunciations, counter-inquisitions, purges, proscriptions, and downright assaults break out with rapidity throughout the Poleis.
** Soon Gildenhome will be forced to send in forces to contain the violence, leading Odessa to do the same (as the two nations had, for centuries, purposely left the region politically unstable and actively worked against Poleis unity.)
** The High Priestess of the Goddess of Peace declares Alexandria and the Stand to be Enemies of Peace and orders their destruction.
*** [I love the irony, here. -Slitherrr 19:06, 29 May 2011 (EDT)]
**** I like my metaphor like I like my butter. -gm
** Begin Prophet's War.
*CL 9: Psionic Warrior 9
** Alexandria and Sterros solidify alliances and work on a grand strategy among their handful of supports.
*** Many Poleis declare for Alexandria outright. The Celstians under the Joshua Pryce attack and harass the Odessans, but do not declare for her outright.
*** The Elves, with no warning and giving no reasons, declare for Alexandria. This puts them at odds with Odessa. Also, by this time Petara is in the midst of a full scale civil war initiated by Sayid and the Bedowyld peoples of the interior. As such, the Elves have complete control of the seas.
*CL 10: Psionic Warrior 10
** A few weeks(?) into the war, the fleets of the Lost appear.
** A council is held between emisaries of the Lost, the Elven Admiralty, and the Stand.
** A bunch of yelling happened. Everyone yelled at everyone else for a long time.
** Alexandria agrees to leave with the Lost. (Very good reason to believe Mythrian *despised* Alexandria after this, though the Church would never admit it.) Promises to return soon, and empowers Sterros to fight and act in her name.
*By this point, most of the Stand is around level 12-13 and most of the "second string" is around level 7-9.

<big><big><big>Long Sojourn</big></big></big> <small>~10 Years</small>

*CL 18?: Psionic Warrior 7?/Monk 12?
** At this point, most of the party is Lvl 16-17, with Marwynn breaking into Low Epics.
** Alexandria returns with a contingent of The Lost. Now in her mid to late-20s, she looks much different from when she left. Tall, lean, and impossibly agile, she wears no armor and carries no weapons.
** She beats Arek to Death with her bare hands.
** Learns the secrets of the White Obelisk with the help of Marwynn and Antioch
** Base movement approaching 100.
*** What's that? Double move of around ~20 MPH, run speed of ~50 MPH. Can probably use some PSPs to outsprint a cheetah.
**** 45.45 miles / hour at 4x -Slitherrr 19:10, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
****** Yup, I don't know enough about Psionic Warrior off-hand to add that to the calculation, I was just converting her base move x4 into mph. -slith

*CL EPIC
**Alexandria assumes the Omnity, Demi-Pantheon perishes, the bonds on the Dark Lord's prison are loosed.
**Alexandria Becomes outsider type. (Hey, didn't Sayid and Antioch both have a Greater Outsider Bane weapon?)
**Gains a mess of free levels, attribute adjustments, exceptional and supernatural abilities.
**Almost single handedly puts an end the Prophet's War.
**Essentially is declared Empress of the Earth by what is left of the world's clerics and war-exhausted nations.
**No time to rest, guys! Begin Alexandria's Crusade.

<big>On The Rest of the Stand</big>
*Marwynn: Fighter 4/Sorc X (Specializing in Greatsword)

Charisma
One thing that might not be obvious is that without Turn/Rebuke, you end up with Charisma as pretty much a dump stat. You end up focusing super-heavily on Wisdom with Str/Con getting more attention than a normal cleric might (or maybe even Dex to help their terrible Reflex). Evangelists aren't going to be pounders since they don't have heavy armor, but they do feel like they'll be fairly stout on average because there's no justification to spend on Charisma. -Mattie
: I don't disagree, but that's ok. The loss of heavy armor is, to my mind, is a far greater sacrifice than Turn Undead, which is basically a dump ability anyway. I don't know that I'd personally ever go more than maybe 12 CHR as a cleric, unless I picked up a feat that I could use to spend turns. (like the healing one that lets you get an extra +2 HP per die rolled on heal spells). absalom 14:24, 5 May 2011 (EDT)
:: Yeah, wasn't stating it as a bad thing at all, just something I didn't realize and it might not have been obvious to other players. I personally didn't consider Charisma a dump stat for clerics and tended to invest a little bit in it. This makes this class a bit different than most divine classes (Paladins, Clerics, Favored Souls, etc) who have interesting balances of Wis/Cha. This class takes Charisma out of the equation.-Mattie
::: Yeah. Actually, Favored Soul actually can drop Wisdom all they want. Like sorcs, they're a Single Stat Class. I don't think that turn is USELESS, I just think it's, like, a tier III ability so don't invest much towards its use. If I was a paladin, though, Charisma is where it's at! absalom 15:00, 5 May 2011 (EDT)
:::: Unless you tweaked them for your world, Wis controls all the Favored Soul spell DCs, so it's not a dump stat IMHO. It's part of some odd divine conflict that makes it hard not to spread points around. Also, Paladins with low Wisdom can't cast spells, so I hate that pain right now. :) -Mattie
::::: Uh, actually, Favored Souls DO use CHR to determine spells per day and bonus spells, while using WISDOM to determine spell DCs.
::::: <i>Abilities: Charisma determines how many spells the favored soul can cast per day. Wisdom determines how hard the favored soul's spells are to resist (see Spells, below). </i>
::::: Paladins, Clerics, Monks, Rogues and Rangers don't get the option to stat dump, but that is paid back in other ways. Getting several stats up to 14 is pretty easy and cheap to do, even with a 28 point build. -gm
:::::: I don't understand your quote/response-- that's what I was saying about Favored Souls. Wis is a relatively important stat for Favored Souls and thus it's not a single-stat class (especially for offensive builds). Further, given how much melee they have to rely on, I think a good Favored Soul class is really hard to balance across all the stats. Somewhat like a Cleric, Paladin, or Ranger... I was expecting at first blush that Evangelist would feel like a Favored Soul, but ignoring Charisma entirely gives them more freedom versus most other divine classes. It's cool and refreshing-- I can't wait to see how Evangelist balances out in our campaign. -Mattie
::::::: I misread, sorry, I thought you were saying FS didn't use Charisma at ALL. absalom 17:51, 5 May 2011 (EDT)
::::::: It does mean a FS necessarily has to be more specialized, which I also like. One could easily pick the clerical buffs as your spells, dump into strength and con, and be a decent combat healer since DC only matters on spells you use that affect others. -gm
::: It could be that ReCAPTCHA has been beaten, although there haven't been any actual edits, so I can't be positive. There is another CAPTCHA program that actually generates the images based on some seed, so that might work better. However, that won't do anything if what's happening is that there are people on the other end just filling out CAPTCHAs to push these bots through, which is conceivable (bot sends an image back to a server, someone sits there whose job is just filling out CAPTCHAs all day and sends it back, bot takes auth and continues its nefarious deeds is something that is possible). MedaWiki's site might have some clues.-Slitherrr
:::: Other people are reporting this same issue, so it appears that ReCAPTCHA has been beaten. FancyCAPTCHA exists and evidently works very well, but requires using an outdated version of Python to run the image generator, so I'll have to get that and a words file from somewhere. -Slitherrr

:::: Oh yeah, I was thinking of getting FancyCAPTCHA running. Also, I never answered Abs's question above: The reason they are creating accounts and uploading things/creating pages is for SEO. They host here, then link on some page under their control, and use the association to increase their pagerank. I won't be able to work on FancyCAPTCHA tonight, maybe not even this week, but I'll make an event to remind myself. -Slitherrr
::::: For spam prevention, I've had by far the most luck on my sites by swapping form field names. This could be touchy with MediaWiki but gives a lot of bang for the buck. ::: Leadership is going to be tough to work in for awhile, but I could make it work - like I told mattie, after the seige. Also, I don't understand why you'd leave Kimi behind and send someone level 8 with the party instead? -gm
:::: I want to see a character with a cohort that gets leadership with a cohort that gets leadership with a cohort that gets leadership. I think that'd be possible right around level 12.-206.248.250.8
::::: There is actually a rule, I think from LG, that prevents cohorts from having cohorts. But, Mattie's eventual cohort actually does have leadership and her own followers. -gm
:::::: Really? I don't see why. Apart from the fact that you (the GM, not the general you) control the feat choices, if a cohort wants to spend a feat to get a cohort, more power to them, right? -206.248.250.8

Logistics
*The party sorts through and gets shit together from what they've collected over the past--forever.
**Kib presents the Riveroler, the Captain's chain, and the golden chain to the authorities, recovered from their travels (IC reason is that Kib is like that, OOC is that it would be too much of a pain to fence in a place where everyone knows everything that's been going down). All logbooks, papers, puke vials, whatnot are also turned over, and the chunk of star iron as well.
**The cudgel from the looters is hocked, because it doesn't have the same restrictions as the chain, etc.
**Anise restocks everyone with bolts and herself with arrows.
**Five pearls and ten GP are spent IDing several items:
***Two rings are Friend Shield rings. Either ring can be used to throw up a shield on the others' bearer with no range limitation, max ten hours a day, on/off at will as a free action. The shield will transfer half the damage of a blow taken to the wearer of the other ring.
***The other is a Ring of Sustenance.
***The High Priestess's robes are Robes of Mist
***Zek's Figurine is a Silver Raven Figurine of Wondrous Power.
**The Adamantine studs are forged into an Adamantine rapier at the price of masterwork (150gp)
***Incidentals are bought (new breastplate for Kib, fletching tools, disguise kit, bedroll, whetstone for Anise, jaunty cap for Thed, and X restoratives)
**Total of above: 651.12 gp, plus X for cure pots and whatnot.
**Remainder of party's gold (above is out of 2505.45) is distributed for spending moneys.

==Current Disposables Proposal:
*Trade in 2800 gp worth of scrolls for 1400 gp worth of consumables [slith: list in talk page]
**1800 20 cmw charges
**375 50 clw charges
**300 1 cmw pot
**200 4 clw pot
**10 food
**Total: 2685 out of 3254.33 = 569.33 to split

Mysterious Lady
*After taking care of business, Gnob's Folly retreated to a tavern to relax. After a while, members start to notice that there's at least one Human woman among the almost entirely Dwarven clientele, who is watching Kib intently.
*She finds out she's noticed, and immediately heads out the door. Kib and Anise pursue.
*Outside, the lady is nowhere to be found, but a Dwarf with the exact same clothing is trying nonchalantly to look at anything but Kib. Kib saunters up and grabs an elbow, there's a chat, and the lady comes back inside
*Taking ensues, lady ends up being Tana Absold, the youngest (living) of the Absolds. She has been following Kib, and is now his cohort (Rog 2, Bard 3), with a Ring of Chameleon Power.
*Session cuts off early so Jones can get some stuff done and because logistics made it too late to get deeply involved with stuff.

XP
*400 for all
