*We defeated the necromancer defiler and all of his undead minions. {{Camgee}} and {{Quay}} may or may not have seen {{Vesa}} hastily tuck something into her pouch.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Unspoken Words==&lt;br /&gt;
*While camped out that night, {{Camgee}} successfully steals the Defiler’s spellbook from {{Vesa}} while she sleeps.&lt;br /&gt;
*The next morning, she deduces who stole the spellbook, but says nothing. {{Quay}} notices that {{Camgee}} is super grumpy and asks what’s up, but {{Vesa}} shoots him a look to let the matter drop for now.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Aarakocra Interlude==&lt;br /&gt;
*While on the way back to Kled, the party is stopped by a group of Aarakocra who determine that we are not a threat and leave us be. They mention that they are looking for brigands on flying mounts who have been raiding their nests and stealing their eggs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Return to Kled==&lt;br /&gt;
*The group go to The Swinging Sword to collect on our Lance Rock quest reward and convey the good news to Kaylessa. In addition to giving us 1 silver per person, she also lets us sleep in the common room for free and/or half off a room for one night.&lt;br /&gt;
*Afterward, {{Vesa}} invites the group to the pub across the street, The Helm at Highsun, for a chat. She comes clean about what she is - a preserver wizard - and attempts to convince them that her magic does not destroy Athas. &lt;br /&gt;
*After dinner, we go find some scrub brush so that {{Vesa}} can prove her claims. {{Camgee}} is still suspicious, but grudgingly allows her to continue living for now. The rest of the party seems to be at least optimistic that {{Vesa}} is telling the truth.&lt;br /&gt;
*Back at The Swinging Sword, Kaylessa points the group toward &#039;&#039;&#039;Eardon&#039;&#039;&#039;, who just arrived from Freedom, the town where {{Camgee}}’s Halfling friends were supposed to pass through on their way to Kled before they disappeared.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Quay}} and {{Camgee}} go to speak with Eardon. He says that he did see a contingent of Halflings in his travels and is surprised that they didn’t make it to Kled. Says he saw them 20 days ago in Freedom, and that they seemed to be fine.&lt;br /&gt;
*The next morning, {{Vesa}} lets the group know that she has good information that there is a cult of defilers in town and that her “cousin” is actually not her cousin and may have gotten involved with them. She’d like to investigate it before leaving town.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==The Brickyard==&lt;br /&gt;
*The party goes to the brickyard and questions Albaeri, who works at the brickyard about the brick business. {{Utaa}} asks her about the rumors surrounding the brickyard, which Albaeri brushes off, but seems nervous about. She also seems nervous about {{Camgee}}’s presence in general. Albaeri goes off and chats with the brickyard owner, Mellikho, gesturing at {{Utaa}} and {{Camgee}}. We go back to The Swinging Sword to discuss a plan of action.&lt;br /&gt;
*Under cover of dark, {{Quay}}, {{Vesa}}, and {{Ugly 2.0}} sneak into the Brickyard and find a concealed passage. The rest of the group is called over, and we go in to investigate.&lt;br /&gt;
*We come to a large, round room with a large stone door on the other end. To the side of the door hangs a couple of cloaks and a waterskin. We take a cloak and the waterskin and move further inside.&lt;br /&gt;
*At a T-intersection, we take the northern route, which appears to be traveled more, and encounter several scavenger lizards. We dispatch them. They had been gnawing at dead dwarves and a dead elf. The dead humanoids had something carved into their heads so deep, it was etched onto their skulls, but the gnawing wore away the symbol enough that we couldn’t tell what they were.&lt;br /&gt;
*In the next room, there is a cylinder that’s making a rock float in mid-air. {{Vesa}} has no clue what it is and the party moves past it.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} comes upon another dwarf stone carving door. When he opens it, he sees a room with 8 bringers of woe and a Mul named Grund.  The party is victorious.  One of the bringers of woe (all dwarves) was Albaeri.&lt;br /&gt;
*In center of the room is what apparently used to be a dwarf who was turned to stone, then broken, and then reassembled. There is something nearby that indicates that this dwarf’s petrified remains were found, but the dwarf was not salvageable.&lt;br /&gt;
*The next room contains a large standing stone that reads, “Displease not the Delvers”&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
===Loot===&lt;br /&gt;
*Reszur - +1 obsidian dagger that makes no sound when used and can emit light in a 10’ radius when a command word is spoken&lt;br /&gt;
*Coins and gems (already recorded in Inventory sheet)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Braelen==&lt;br /&gt;
*After the battle, we find a child pinned down by rocks. His name is Braelen, and he’s being punished because he was supposed to deliver a message, but lost it. The message came from Braelen’s dad, Rotharr Hatherhand, a worker in the brickyard, to Ilmeth Waelvur, the proprietor of the wagon shop.&lt;br /&gt;
*He says the adults come down here and listen to the Moving Stones where the Delvers are buried. They tell the adults what to do and warn them of danger. {{Vesa}} gives him some food and we convince the boy to leave the tunnels because it’s dangerous here.&lt;br /&gt;
*In the hallway leading to the next room, we meet a human man named Baragustas. He says he lives here and is one of the Believers. They believe in the Moving Stones. He says Larrakh reads them and tells the rest of the Believers what they say. Larrakh is a Mul, a retired gladiator who now listens to the Stones.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Quay}} drags Baragustas out of the hallway and into the next room and ties him up as the party gets ready to enter the room where Larrakh supposedly consults with the Stones.&lt;br /&gt;

*{{Dote}} - a wiry pit-fighter, arena partner of Ugly 2.0. Hired by Camgee as heavy hitter for delegation quest. &lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} - a mul pit-fighter, arena partner of Dancin’ Dote. Hired by Camgee as heavy hitter for delegation quest. &lt;br /&gt;
*{{Quay}} - A slave owned by Vesa’s family. Also very soft looking. Hired as utility dragoman by Camgee for delegation quest.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Vesa}} - a soft looking noble. Probably useless. Looking for her wayward cousin who has joined a cult that reveres the smell of dead bodies. Freakin’ weirdos. Taken on the delegation quest as a stipulation for Quay&#039;s involvement.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Awkward Introduction==&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} and {{Dote}} walk into The Swinging Sword and are quickly offered a job by {{Camgee}} and {{Utaa}} to help him find his lost halfling delegation. {{Vesa}} and {{Quay}} overhear their conversation and see that the halfling is flashing a lot of silver around. They decide to go over and offer their services as well in the hopes that the others can help in {{Vesa}}’s quest to find her wayward cousin, lost to a cult.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Camgee}} was understandably skeptical because both {{Vesa}} and {{Quay}} look pretty soft, but {{Quay}} showed off his knife throwing skills very skilfully and won {{Camgee}}’s respect. *{{Vesa}} was accepted into the group only after she told them that they don’t get {{Quay}} without her and also that she would not ask for any of {{Camgee}}’s food or money.&lt;br /&gt;
*And thus, the group was formed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Water requirements in the desert==&lt;br /&gt;

*Medium creatures need 2 gal/day and small creatures = 1 gal/day.  So party = 11 gal/day&lt;br /&gt;
*Water costs 1 ceramic per 5 gallons&lt;br /&gt;
*Water weighs 8lbs for 1 gallon&lt;br /&gt;
*Erdlu (a giant bird) can carry 200lbs or 25 gallons of water. - that’s 2 days for the party, including the erdlu.&lt;br /&gt;
*Everyone else is to carry 10 gallons of water (80lbs) - except Camgee who carries 5 gal (40lbs), and that will give us another 5 days each. That will cost 2 ceramic per person (or 1 ceramic for Camgee).&lt;br /&gt;
*For food, 1 ceramic per lb of food. We need 2lbs per medium person a day. So for 7 days, that’s 14 ceramic and 14lbs of food.  Small creatures need 1 lb per day.&lt;br /&gt;
*So food and water for 7 days is 94lbs per person (except Camgee who needs 47 lb), not counting the water the erdlu is carrying.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==The Quest Begins==&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Vesa}} then sent {{Quay}} off to gather more information about both problems.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==The Rumor Mill==&lt;br /&gt;
*Tarnlar kids at Lance Rock (plagues and hermits) -- both from Kaylessa and Stannon (random rogue)&lt;br /&gt;
*Hostel outside / elves - they may know more information&lt;br /&gt;
*Haunted Tomb -- probably gith though. (cleared - there was indeed gith as well as an actual ghost and an animated sword)&lt;br /&gt;
*Secret tunnel behind the brickyard where hooded folks come and go at night -- possibly cult for quest of Vesa and Quay’s quest.&lt;br /&gt;
*Sunder Hills events like fog and cold winds.&lt;br /&gt;
*Snake headed rats seen around Kled&lt;br /&gt;
*Ghostly flying lizards&lt;br /&gt;
*Place with a skull nailed to a boulder - we went out to see the skull. There was a note made out of human skin that says, “The Last Laugh / You’ll be next! / Valklondar”&lt;br /&gt;
*Lance Rock - sign that says something about staying away so you don’t get diseased. Go further in and find signs of a defiler as well as 3 zombies and 3 skeletons, which we dispatch. Found a room with a stone slab covered in blood (probably). Ended session there after taking a short rest.&lt;br /&gt;

*Kaylessa, proprietor of The Swinging Sword in Kled, offered 1 sp a person for investigating Lance Rock, which she suspects is the source of all the regions problem.&lt;br /&gt;
*Brigands harassing folks on outskirts of Kled -south cairn road out of town, talk to Harbaraak -- may be a reward&lt;br /&gt;

==Awkward Introduction==&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} and {{Dote}} walk into The Swinging Sword and are quickly offered a job by {{Camgee}} and {{Utaa}} to help him find his lost halfling delegation. {{Vesa}} and {{Quay}} overhear their conversation and see that the halfling is flashing a lot of silver around. They decide to go over and offer their services as well in the hopes that the others can help in {{Vesa}}’s quest to find her wayward cousin, lost to a cult.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Camgee}} was understandably skeptical because both {{Vesa}} and {{Quay}} look pretty soft, but {{Quay}} showed off his knife throwing skills very skilfully and won {{Camgee}}’s respect. *{{Vesa}} was accepted into the group only after she told them that they don’t get {{Quay}} without her and also that she would not ask for any of {{Camgee}}’s food or money.&lt;br /&gt;
*And thus, the group was formed.&lt;br /&gt;

*Medium creatures need 2 gal/day and small creatures = 1 gal/day.  So party = 11 gal/day&lt;br /&gt;
*Water costs 1 ceramic per 5 gallons&lt;br /&gt;
*Water weighs 8lbs for 1 gallon&lt;br /&gt;
*Erdlu (a giant bird) can carry 200lbs or 25 gallons of water. - that’s 2 days for the party, including the erdlu.&lt;br /&gt;
*Everyone else is to carry 10 gallons of water (80lbs) - except Camgee who carries 5 gal (40lbs), and that will give us another 5 days each. That will cost 2 ceramic per person (or 1 ceramic for Camgee).&lt;br /&gt;
*For food, 1 ceramic per lb of food. We need 2lbs per medium person a day. So for 7 days, that’s 14 ceramic and 14lbs of food.  Small creatures need 1 lb per day.&lt;br /&gt;
*So food and water for 7 days is 94lbs per person (except Camgee who needs 47 lb), not counting the water the erdlu is carrying.&lt;br /&gt;

*{{Vesa}} then sent {{Quay}} off to gather more information about both problems.&lt;br /&gt;

*Tarnlar kids at Lance Rock (plagues and hermits) -- both from Kaylessa and Stannon (random rogue)&lt;br /&gt;
*Hostel outside / elves - they may know more information&lt;br /&gt;
*Haunted Tomb -- probably gith though. (cleared - there was indeed gith as well as an actual ghost and an animated sword)&lt;br /&gt;
*Secret tunnel behind the brickyard where hooded folks come and go at night -- possibly cult for quest of Vesa and Quay’s quest.&lt;br /&gt;
*Sunder Hills events like fog and cold winds.&lt;br /&gt;
*Snake headed rats seen around Kled&lt;br /&gt;
*Ghostly flying lizards&lt;br /&gt;
*Place with a skill nailed to a boulder - we went out to see the skull. There was a note made out of human skin that says, “The Last Laugh / You’ll be next! / Valklondar”&lt;br /&gt;
*Lance Rock - sign that says something about staying away so you don’t get diseased. Go further in and find signs of a defiler as well as 3 zombies and 3 skeletons, which we dispatch. Found a room with a stone slab covered in blood (probably). Ended session there after taking a short rest.&lt;br /&gt;

*Dancin’ {{Dote}} - a wiry warrior, partnered up with Ugly 2.0&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} - a mul, partner of Dancin’ Dote, he and DD got hired by Camgee to search for his missing delgation&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Vesa}} - a soft looking noble. Probably useless. Looking for her wayward cousin who has joined a cult that reveres the smell of dead bodies. Freakin’ weirdos.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Quay}} - Vesa’s slave. Also very soft looking, but can throw a mean dagger and is good at gathering information&lt;br /&gt;

==Awkward Introduction==&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} and {{Dote}} walk into The Swinging Sword and are quickly offered a job by {{Camgee}} and {{Utaa}} to help him find his lost halfling delegation. {{Vesa}} and {{Quay}} overhear their conversation and see that the halfling is flashing a lot of silver around. They decide to go over and offer their services as well in the hopes that the others can help in {{Vesa}}’s quest to find her wayward cousin, lost to a cult.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Camgee}} was understandably skeptical because both {{Vesa}} and {{Quay}} look pretty soft, but {{Quay}} showed off his knife throwing skills very skilfully and won {{Camgee}}’s respect. *{{Vesa}} was accepted into the group only after she told them that they don’t get {{Quay}} without her and also that she would not ask for any of {{Camgee}}’s food or money.&lt;br /&gt;
*And thus, the group was formed.&lt;br /&gt;

*Erdlu (a giant bird) can carry 200lbs or 25 gallons of water. - that’s 2 days for the party, including the erdlu.&lt;br /&gt;
*Everyone else is to carry 10 gallons of water (80lbs) - except Camgee who carries 5 gal (40lbs), and that will give us another 5 days each. That will cost 2 ceramic per person (or 1 ceramic for Camgee).&lt;br /&gt;
*For food, 1 ceramic per lb of food. We need 2lbs per medium person a day. So for 7 days, that’s 14 ceramic and 14lbs of food.  Small creatures need 1 lb per day.&lt;br /&gt;

*Tarnlar kids at Lance Rock (plagues and hermits) -- both from Kaylessa and Stannon (random rogue)&lt;br /&gt;
*Hostel outside / elves - they may know more information&lt;br /&gt;
*Haunted Tomb -- probably gith though. (cleared - there was indeed gith as well as an actual ghost and an animated sword)&lt;br /&gt;
*Secret tunnel behind the brickyard where hooded folks come and go at night -- possibly cult for quest of Vesa and Quay’s quest.&lt;br /&gt;
*Sunder Hills events like fog and cold winds.&lt;br /&gt;
*Snake headed rats seen around Kled&lt;br /&gt;
*Ghostly flying lizards&lt;br /&gt;
*Place with a skill nailed to a boulder - we went out to see the skull. There was a note made out of human skin that says, “The Last Laugh / You’ll be next! / Valklondar”&lt;br /&gt;
*Lance Rock - sign that says something about staying away so you don’t get diseased. Go further in and find signs of a defiler as well as 3 zombies and 3 skeletons, which we dispatch. Found a room with a stone slab covered in blood (probably). Ended session there after taking a short rest.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;==Last Game==&lt;br /&gt;
*Last time, we entered the lair of a deranged necromancer who has animated several zombies and skeletons. We’re still exploring that lair.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Corpse Storage==&lt;br /&gt;
*Found a storage room with gross armored unanimated corpses&lt;br /&gt;
*We torched ‘em and it smelled bad&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Gruesome Ball==&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} goes into the next room and finds three zombies. One is dressed as an erdlu, one as a fancy lady in a dress, and one as a jester. They don’t appear to notice him.&lt;br /&gt;
*He retreats to the rest of the group to let them know what he saw. He goes back only to find out that they ‘’’did’’’ notice him and set up an ambush. &lt;br /&gt;
*The party slowly advances as {{Vesa}} approaches with the light.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Dote}} goes up first and is ambushed again! He is taken down by the zombies. {{Ugly 2.0}} goes into a rage and rushes in to avenge his dying friend.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Camgee}} nails one zombie lady with an arrow then shreds the Jester with his short swords.&lt;br /&gt;
*Suddenly, a booming voice echoes through the chamber, “You DARE to pit yourself against Oreioth?! The LORD of Lance Rock?? Death will be your reward! Then you can SERVE!!”&lt;br /&gt;
*This is followed by a rockslide down the top-right corridor, which bruises the knees of {{Ugly 2.0}}, {{Vesa}} and {{Camgee}}. &lt;br /&gt;
*Suddenly {{Vesa}} is lit up by glowing magical things knocking her down.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party retreats in total disorder, {{Ugly 2.0}} carrying {{Vesa}}.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party rests for the night, luckily unbothered by the random encounters table.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==The Double-Defiler==&lt;br /&gt;
*The next morning, the party returns to the defiler’s cave. We check again for more zombies in the corpse room and dispatch 3 new zombies.&lt;br /&gt;
*We then sneak into a new area past where we were shamefully forced to run away, and find a large, well lit room. There are three tables in the center where the defiler’s work is done. He is wearing a hooded robe, facing away from us - but it’s not him! It’s just a zombie!&lt;br /&gt;
*We quickly dispatch the zombie, but then a bunch of severed hands start pawing at the party.&lt;br /&gt;
*Those are dispatched as well, and {{Ugly 2.0}} begins to advance on the 4 skeletons that are hiding behind a work bench.&lt;br /&gt;
*After exchanging fire for a few rounds, Oreioth reveals himself! He is undead himself. Gross.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth tries to subvert {{Dote}}’s will, but is unsuccessful.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party focuses entirely on taking down Oreioth and scores several successful hits against him. {{Quay}} lands a heavy blow against Oreioth. The skeletons turn on {{Quay}} and take him down.&lt;br /&gt;
*After a round of devastating attacks, Oreioth says, “WHAT! ANOTHER PRACTITIONER OF THE ART? JOIN ME GIRL, ABANDON THESE CHUMPS!” and then retreats. {{Utaa}} heals {{Quay}} to get him back into the fight.&lt;br /&gt;
*We refocus our attack on the skeletons, aiming to take them out quickly.&lt;br /&gt;
*After taking out the skeletons, we run after the obviously crazy undead defiler. He says, “Can’t you see it? It’s the EYE! It SEES your every move! It SEES your future!! IT SEES YOUR DOOM! Don’t you fear it?? EMBRACE IT!” We continue down the passage.&lt;br /&gt;
*The path splits in two. {{Dote}} goes down the Eastern (bottom) passage, at which point, Oreioth targets and takes down {{Dote}}. {{Utaa}} revives him.&lt;br /&gt;
*The rest of the party make it to the end of the hall and into a room with a floating eye above a pedestal and curtains all around the walls. {{Ugly 2.0}} smashes it.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth appears from behind the curtain and shoots magical bolts at {{Ugly 2.0}}, taking him down! &lt;br /&gt;
*{{Utaa}} revives {{Ugly 2.0}} and the party wails on the defiler again, with {{Ugly 2.0}} landing the killing blow.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;lt;pre&amp;gt;(Vesa only) Found a series of horrible vile drawings on human skin (the defiler’s spellbook). The book contains: 1st level: False Life, Mage Armor, Magic Missile, Ray of Sickness, 2nd level: Crown of Madness, Misty Step, 3rd level: Animate Dead, Vampiric Touch&lt;br /&gt;

Wand recharging info - 1d6+1 charge regained each day so long as there are still charges remaining. Takes one week to be attuned to user.&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

*{{Dote}} goes up first and is ambushed again! He is taken down by the zombies. {{Ugly 2.0}} goes into a rage and rushes in to avenge his dying friend.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Camgee}} nails one zombie lady with an arrow then shreds the Jester with his short swords.&lt;br /&gt;
*Suddenly, a booming voice echoes through the chamber, “You DARE to pit yourself against Oreioth?! The LORD of Lance Rock?? Death will be your reward! Then you can SERVE!!”&lt;br /&gt;
*This is followed by a rockslide down the top-right corridor, which bruises the knees of {{Ugly 2.0}}, {{Vesa}} and {{Camgee}}. &lt;br /&gt;
*Suddenly {{Vesa}} is lit up by glowing magical things knocking her down.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party retreats in total disorder, {{Ugly 2.0}} carrying {{Vesa}}.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party rests for the night, luckily unbothered by the random encounters table.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==The Double-Defiler==&lt;br /&gt;
*The next morning, the party returns to the defiler’s cave. We check again for more zombies in the corpse room and dispatch 3 new zombies.&lt;br /&gt;
*We then sneak into a new area past where we were shamefully forced to run away, and find a large, well lit room. There are three tables in the center where the defiler’s work is done. He is wearing a hooded robe, facing away from us - but it’s not him! It’s just a zombie!&lt;br /&gt;
*We quickly dispatch the zombie, but then a bunch of severed hands start pawing at the party.&lt;br /&gt;
*Those are dispatched as well, and {{Ugly 2.0}} begins to advance on the 4 skeletons that are hiding behind a work bench.&lt;br /&gt;
*After exchanging fire for a few rounds, Oreioth reveals himself! He is undead himself. Gross.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth tries to subvert {{Dote}}’s will, but is unsuccessful.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party focuses entirely on taking down Oreioth and scores several successful hits against him. {{Quay}} lands a heavy blow against Oreioth. The skeletons turn on {{Quay}} and take him down.&lt;br /&gt;
*After a round of devastating attacks, Oreioth says, “WHAT! ANOTHER PRACTITIONER OF THE ART? JOIN ME GIRL, ABANDON THESE CHUMPS!” and then retreats. {{Utaa}} heals {{Quay}} to get him back into the fight.&lt;br /&gt;
*We refocus our attack on the skeletons, aiming to take them out quickly.&lt;br /&gt;
*After taking out the skeletons, we run after the obviously crazy undead defiler. He says, “Can’t you see it? It’s the EYE! It SEES your every move! It SEES your future!! IT SEES YOUR DOOM! Don’t you fear it?? EMBRACE IT!” We continue down the passage.&lt;br /&gt;
*The path splits in two. {{Dote}} goes down the Eastern (bottom) passage, at which point, Oreioth targets and takes down {{Dote}}. {{Utaa}} revives him.&lt;br /&gt;
*The rest of the party make it to the end of the hall and into a room with a floating eye above a pedestal and curtains all around the walls. {{Ugly 2.0}} smashes it.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth appears from behind the curtain and shoots magical bolts at {{Ugly 2.0}}, taking him down! &lt;br /&gt;
*{{Utaa}} revives {{Ugly 2.0}} and the party wails on the defiler again, with {{Ugly 2.0}} landing the killing blow.&lt;br /&gt;

*Last time, we entered the lair of a deranged necromancer who has animated several zombies and skeletons. We’re still exploring that lair.&lt;br /&gt;

==Corpse Storage==&lt;br /&gt;
*Found a storage room with gross armored unanimated corpses&lt;br /&gt;
*We torched ‘em and it smelled bad&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Gruesome Ball==&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Ugly 2.0}} goes into the next room and finds three zombies. One is dressed as an erdlu, one as a fancy lady in a dress, and one as a jester. They don’t appear to notice him.&lt;br /&gt;
*He retreats to the rest of the group to let them know what he saw. He goes back only to find out that they ‘’’did’’’ notice him and set up an ambush. &lt;br /&gt;
*The party slowly advances as {{Vesa}} approaches with the light.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Dote}} goes up first and is ambushed again! He is taken down by the zombies. {{Ugly 2.0}} goes into a rage and rushes in to avenge his dying friend.&lt;br /&gt;
*{{Camgee}} nails one zombie lady with an arrow then shreds the Jester with his short swords.&lt;br /&gt;
*Suddenly, a booming voice echoes through the chamber, “You DARE to pit yourself against Oreioth?! The LORD of Lance Rock?? Death will be your reward! Then you can SERVE!!”&lt;br /&gt;
*This is followed by a rockslide down the top-right corridor, which bruises the knees of {{Ugly 2.0}}, {{Vesa}} and {{Camgee}}. &lt;br /&gt;
*Suddenly {{Vesa}} is lit up by glowing magical things knocking her down.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party retreats in total disorder, {{Ugly 2.0}} carrying {{Vesa}}.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party rests for the night, luckily unbothered by the random encounters table.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==The Defiler==&lt;br /&gt;
*The next morning, the party returns to the defiler’s cave. We check again for more zombies in the corpse room and dispatch 3 new zombies.&lt;br /&gt;
*We then sneak into a new area past where we were shamefully forced to run away, and find a large, well lit room. There are three tables in the center where the defiler’s work is done. He is wearing a hooded robe, facing away from us - but it’s not him! It’s just a zombie!&lt;br /&gt;
*We quickly dispatch the zombie, but then a bunch of severed hands start pawing at the party.&lt;br /&gt;
*Those are dispatched as well, and {{Ugly 2.0}} begins to advance on the 4 skeletons that are hiding behind a work bench.&lt;br /&gt;
*After exchanging fire for a few rounds, Oreioth reveals himself! He is undead himself. Gross.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth tries to subvert {{Dote}}’s will, but is unsuccessful.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party focuses entirely on taking down Oreioth and scores several successful hits against him. {{Quay}} lands a heavy blow against Oreioth. The skeletons turn on {{Quay}} and take him down.&lt;br /&gt;
*After a round of devastating attacks, Oreioth says, “WHAT! ANOTHER PRACTITIONER OF THE ART? JOIN ME GIRL, ABANDON THESE CHUMPS!” and then retreats. {{Utaa}} heals {{Quay}} to get him back into the fight.&lt;br /&gt;
*We refocus our attack on the skeletons, aiming to take them out quickly.&lt;br /&gt;
*After taking out the skeletons, we run after the obviously crazy undead defiler. He says, “Can’t you see it? It’s the EYE! It SEES your every move! It SEES your future!! IT SEES YOUR DOOM! Don’t you fear it?? EMBRACE IT!” We continue down the passage.&lt;br /&gt;
*The path splits in two. {{Dote}} goes down the Eastern (bottom) passage, at which point, Oreioth targets and takes down {{Dote}}. {{Utaa}} revives him.&lt;br /&gt;
*The rest of the party make it to the end of the hall and into a room with a floating eye above a pedestal and curtains all around the walls. {{Ugly 2.0}} smashes it.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth appears from behind the curtain and shoots magical bolts at {{Ugly 2.0}}, taking him down! &lt;br /&gt;
*{{Utaa}} revives {{Ugly 2.0}} and the party wails on the defiler again, with {{Ugly 2.0}} landing the killing blow.&lt;br /&gt;

*After exchanging fire for a few rounds, Oreioth reveals himself! He is undead himself. Gross.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth tries to subvert {{Dote}}’s will, but is unsuccessful.&lt;br /&gt;
*The party focuses entirely on taking down Oreioth and scores several successful hits against him. {{Quay}} lands a heavy blow against Oreioth. The skeletons turn on {{Quay}} and take him down.&lt;br /&gt;
*After a round of devastating attacks, Oreioth says, “WHAT! ANOTHER PRACTITIONER OF THE ART? JOIN ME GIRL, ABANDON THESE CHUMPS!” and then retreats. {{Utaa}} heals {{Quay}} to get him back into the fight.&lt;br /&gt;
*We refocus our attack on the skeletons, aiming to take them out quickly.&lt;br /&gt;
*After taking out the skeletons, we run after the obviously crazy undead defiler. He says, “Can’t you see it? It’s the EYE! It SEES your every move! It SEES your future!! IT SEES YOUR DOOM! Don’t you fear it?? EMBRACE IT!” We continue down the passage.&lt;br /&gt;
*The path splits in two. {{Dote}} goes down the Eastern (bottom) passage, at which point, Oreioth targets and takes down {{Dote}}. {{Utaa}} revives him.&lt;br /&gt;
*The rest of the party make it to the end of the hall and into a room with a floating eye above a pedestal and curtains all around the walls. {{Ugly 2.0}} smashes it.&lt;br /&gt;
*Oreioth appears from behind the curtain and shoots magical bolts at {{Ugly 2.0}}, taking him down! &lt;br /&gt;
*{{Utaa}} revives {{Ugly 2.0}} and the party wails on the defiler again, with {{Ugly 2.0}} landing the killing blow.&lt;br /&gt;
