Fearing the bulk of the squad will get away, Apt blows the horn and the party charges into the firing line, as a long forgotten Ratling forced to retreat to the left appears from down the hall. He joins the fray for a moment but decides to follow the Skald out the back door. The skirmishers hold long enough to assure the retreat of at least to Ratlings. Position and situation unknown, the party decides to abandon the position - retreating into the swamp to rest and regroup(and level, in Edi's case).
