Where do you think they would come from? Wherever the commanders feel like pulling them from. With the teleport ward down, King Aiden himself could show up in the center of town with 1,000 cavalry fresh from Cebridon. Man for man, you're outnumbered maybe ten to one. The city's wards and walls are the only thing staving off total destruction.
