	* Upon ascending to the level of the hydra, the party is confronted by four lizardmen wraiths who say they are bound to the hydra and that they would have to attack us if we attack the hydra. They say that the lizardfolk that sent us have confused the regenerating power of the hydra with the darkness of the temple. The ancient lizardfolk tribes, came down on the wrong side of man’s wars. They moved to worship the night serpent and the hierophant of the Lizardfolk became corrupted by dark magics and persists to this day... He (the heirophant) has slept for centuries... but... he has stirred again. 			* Party continues through the dungeon. Finds a room with bronze statues. {{LE}} detects that the statues are trapped! Electricity
			* Structure is made of Gabbro
			* Stone slabs are made of marble.
			* We make it past the lightning traps, Kimika flies over it. Mose walks through, Al jumps over.
			* We see two bodies of rust monsters that have been bitten and slashed and strangled.
			* Mose downgrades to +1 Longspear and +1 Splint Mail to avoid rust monsters.
			* Party puts the haversack inside another bag and tie it up.
			* Quin is using his bow and his Flail is ready. Cover over his scythe.
			* The party continues on through several rooms and down to the next level. LE immediately feels a sense of dread and warns everyone that she feels that there is a threat much worse than the hydra. Kaylee gets a quick history lesson and is still quite confused. LE and company decide to press on, cautiously.
			* We go back down, explore the big room. Pet rock peeks in Hydra room, Quin hears purring, displacer beasts attack!
			** Kimi casts bane on the first one seen.
			** Mose charges forward, gets hit by a big mofo beast.
			** They move forward
			** Al casts flame strike, takes two AoO and one more when falling back
			** Quin pops the lord with one arrow, another got displaced
			** LE lays down a fireball that singes Moses beard and makes the kitties quite unhappy.
			** Kimi calls down a second pillar of divine flame upon the beast lord. It writhes in agony, its tentacles lashing wildly.
			** Mose repositions, taking another vicious swipe from the beast lord’s tentacle. Mose tries to smite the first beast with his longspear but it is displaced.
			** The beast lord tries to step closer for a full attack, but Mose quick steps back at the same time. It still gets one swipe of a tentacle at Mose and Mose is in bad shape.
			** Kaylee flings four bolts of pure mind energy at the beast lord. It growl angrily as each bolt lances into its flesh.
			** Beast 2 steps forward and lashes out at Mose.
			** Beast 1 steps forward and lashes out twice at Mose, but Mose somehow manages to dodge these.
			** Al flamestrikes the beast lord and beast 1. Beast one slumps to the ground and the lord is bloodied.
			** Quin fires three arrows at the lord. One is displaced, two thump into him.
			** Germain fires his bow three times at the lord. One is off target. The other two are displaced.
			** LE casts MM on the lord. Five darts of magical power thunk into it.
			** Kimi casts CLW on Mose.
			** Mose screams in rage and stabs furiously at beast 2 with a smite. They all land and it mewls piteously as it crumples to the ground.
			** The pack lord (no longer) lashes out at Mose with both tentacles and flays more flesh from Mose’s arms and back.
			** Kaylee stabs at the pack lord with a blade of pure mind energy. It staggers under the assult but remains standing.
			** Al calls down yet another flame strike. The beast lurches but remains standing.
			** Quin launches another volley of arrows at it, one manages to stick.
			** LE flings another volley of MM at it and it crumples into a smoking heap.
			** The party takes stock of the damage. Mose nearly passes out from his wounds before Al and Kimi rush to him with healing energy blazing from their hands.

			* Party rests for one night and prepares for battle with the hydra.

			* Night Serpent -- Usurper God. Snuck into heaven, killed some gods, took their power. Naga who did this. This was after the great war, before the Demi-Pantheon left the mortal realms. Naga killed one and took its power. Part of the reasons the gods left.
			* The wraiths say that the heirophant is in the tombs, and they don’t know if they will be released if the heirophant is killed.
			* Party goes to room 4, where there are glowing lights and statues. When Al enters, all of the lights go out and Al is attacked by electrical energy. LE pulls out the lantern of something-or-other to reveal the glowing balls of light that are now attacking the party.

			** Al the bear and Quinalin jump into the fray.
			** Someone summons a lion.
			** Kaylee throws cold energy at the light creatures.
			** LE magic missiles a light creature and kills it.
			** Mose steps up and smites one.
			** The Will-O-Wisps are dead!

			* (LE’s staff burns a charge, but she does not gain a con point yet.)
			* The party attempts to rest in room 4 for the night.
