	: I have, some. There are two.. er.. three, I guess, in the IRL game I've been playing in. They tend to be overpowered, or maybe it's just that the twinks gravitate to the class. I don't mind them, but they're generally more complicated than they are worth, though some psionic feats are pretty nice. They're a very rare part of my world, and I like it that way. I really liked the wild talent idea from 2nd ed, but there's no good one in third despite the perfect vehicle for it in feats. Should probably be a lvl 0 power, but fuck it. 			:: As I understood it from dev discussion around 4e, the real issue with psionics was that they tried to balance the mechanical power-level with role-play tradeoffs. In 2 and 3, the whole deal with psionicists were that they were persecuted, and so if you wanted to play one, you had to contend with a bias. Its like playing a defiler in dark sun--you are strictly more powerful than another class, and the only penalty is what npcs think of you. So, if the DM didn't have those biases in their world, the psionic classes were just strictly overpowered. --[[User:Msallen\|Msallen]]
