When not learning Goblin, Kib will keep Gnob busy with various ~~maintenance~~ tasks--~~enough to keep him busy~~, ~~but not so much that he wears down~~.		Also, Kib has given Gnob two sets of clothing, and will generally have Gnob keep as tidy an appearance as can be expected. Long years of military discipline, and whatnot. When not learning Goblin, Kib will keep Gnob busy with various tasks, like exercises in how to read and do arithmetic, history lessons, what-have-you, as well as general camp maintenance.

Kib's tactic is to be firm, but not unkind. We wants the Gnob to know that he has no intention of hurting him, but also makes no mistake about consequences should Gnob try to cut their throats at inopportune moments. He will protect Gnob from harm, and intends to release Gnob at a place of Gnob's choosing (within reason) once he's picked up enough of the language to be able to study on his own.
