			Talked to Gil, he's digging mithril (to be all LOTR-y, his words). The total then comes to

			Given the lack of response in the debriefing thread, I think it might be best to assume that they'll generally go along with the expenditures. Even if they don't go with everything, we can work out the details here and save a lot of time Sunday.

			Here's the summary. Except for the goblin and the warhorse, all the prices are SRD base.

			7397 gp, 2 sp, 9 cp to work with.

			Silk rope -10gp
			Torches - 1cp apiece, we can buy them by the gross
			Masterwork thieves' toolkit (thed) -100gp
			Healer's kit x2 (zealeus and kib) -100gp
			Grappling hook -1gp
			Climber's kit -80gp

			Pony, pony, pony, warhorse (substitute warpony for anyone with ranks in ride) -30gp per pony, 100gp per warpony, 300gp for a light warhorse strong enough to carry Kib with his equipment. Assuming nobody but Kib actually has ranks in ride, it's 390 gp total (including the already-obtained Grimhoof).

			Goblin slave -70gp.

			masterwork morningstar -158gp
			OR
			masterwork heavy mace -162gp

			Masterwork heavy steel shield- 170gp

			Masterwork full plate -1650 gp
			OR
			Masterwork banded mail -500 gp

			With armor, there's a lot of stuff to work out. Here's the base cost

			Mithril breastplate - 4200gp (Small size only, since Gil's el tank)

			Adamantine chain shirt - 5100 gp (Small size only)

			Masterwork breastplate - 350 go (Since Prof is definitely losing evasion, this is a good enough piece for Kib, even though he'd much prefer mithril)

			So, first things first, is to get the general eqp out of the way. None of it is really obscure (I suppose masterwork thieves' tools may or may not be tough to get), so I'll lump it together:

			.1 gp - 10 torches
			10 gp - silk rope
			100gp - Healer's kit x2
			1 gp - Grapnel
			80 gp - Climber's kit
			70 gp - Goblin
			390 gp - pony, pony, pony, Fresian warhorse (I'll sub a warpony for any character with ride ranks, if you could check for me)
			10 gp - Whatever amount of slow-to-perish food can be bought for 10gp

			This is 661.1 gp. I'll tithe 8.9 gp to the church to make it an even 670 base (before any discount, which I assume you'll determine)

			The heavy mace and the morning star average out to 160gp, so for simplicity, it's probably ok to use that as the base, then have Zeal (or whoever plays Zeal) make that choice in-game.

			For Zeal's outfit:

			1650 gp - small-size masterwork full plate
			170 gp - small-size masterwork heavy steel shield
			160 gp - small-size masterwork simple one-handed smashy smashy weapon

			This is 1980 base.


			Kib:

			350gp - medium-size masterwork breastplate

			Gil is then the wild card, since we can't afford anything better for Kib. The unavailability of mithril dictates that the best choice is probably the adamantine chain shirt, which is 5100 base. If we get enough of a discount on the above, and the extra cost with limited availability of the small-size mithril breastplate is low enough, then that is the better option. Base cost for that is 4100, but that of course has X amount added to it.
