The Harvester is an erratically and very infrequently visible celestial object whose appearance often portends cataclysmic upheaval and change. Due to scarcity of pre-Alexandrian records, exact reckonings of The Harvester's appearances before Alexandria's time are spotty. There are no recorded appearances of The Harvester during the Alexandrian age.
Modern astronomers, if there were any, would know it as a comet.
