By closing ranks and locking shields together, the team can form an impenetrable barrier to shield a more vulnerable team member from enemies.
Training
The group stands in a tight formation and locks shields while a hired mercenary or assistant pelts everyone with blunt arrows. Each bruising shot reminds one to improve his form and teamwork.
Task Leader Prerequisites
Tower Shield Proficiency and base attack bonus +8.
Team Member Prerequisites
Shield Proficiency and base attack bonus +2.
Benefit
As a swift (free, but only once per turn) action, any member of the team and lose his shield bonus to AC and grant it to a single adjacent team member instead. This bonus stacks with the recipient's existing shield bonus, if any.
