Lilia Absold

Lilia was Garn Absold's wife, and Kib's mother. Of less modest means than Garn, she was formally educated in service to Alexandria, although she left the fold to marry Garn and help him run his business. She is said to have been a shrewd businesswoman who kept very good ties with the Hadriarch. Kib does not remember her--according to his family, she died while giving birth to a daughter when he was three years old.
