Animal companion stuffs...
- Probably looking for a wolf or horse (or elk/deer if that happens to be around)-Feantari

Prestige classes?
- I am intrigued by the elk-rider nonsense, but as people say it's not like anyone is teaching. That said I have about 0 exciting feat plans so maybe I'll poke at it? Still probably tossing in a level or two of horizon walker (you know, assuming I have lots of levels to play with :-P). But, I doubt I'm jumping to either of those right when they become available, zomg spells and cool ranger stuffs.-Feantari
- Nonsense? NONSENSE!? Well, FWIW, I think Elk-Rider would be pretty much something you'd have to work toward, since there are two feat prereqs (Mounted Combat and Mounted Archery). Regardless of what prestige is your goal, it's worth noting that you can pretty easily multi with a couple of fighter levels to pick up any prereqs for anything, just about. In either event, you'll be able to get pretty much any native-to-temperate-regions type of Animal Companion - be it elk or wolf or whatever - without much effort. -gm

Anise is starting to get enough hit points that I'm seriously considering giving the friend shield ring to our other, glassier, cannonier party member. The scrags last session scared the shit out of me where Thoven was concerned. -Slitherrr
- Maybe so. That False Life is great vs missiles and other harassment. Against a troll, it's maybe a glancing blow. -gm
