This was a table in a room in a naval outpost on the archipelago in the middle of the Heretic Sea. It was found to respond to dates--speaking one would cause the images of stars on the sky to shift, presumably to how the sky appeared on that day. It was used by Gnob's Folly to confirm the coincidence of a Red Star at a suggestive time a couple of thousand years ago, and presumably confirms its place as an omen of significant proportions.
