	10	A surface with ledges to hold on to and stand on, such as a rough wall or a ship's rigging.
	15	A surface with adequate handholds; An unknotted rope; pulling self up from a ledge.
	20	An uneven surface with narrow hand and footholds.
	25	A rough surface, such as natural rock or brick walls.
	25	An overhanging ceiling with handholds but no footholds.
	--	A perfectly smooth, flat, vertical surface.

DC Modifier	Example
	-10	Brace against opposing walls.
	-5	Climbing a corner using perpendicular walls.
	+5	Slippery surface.
	+5	Accelerated climbing (1/2 move instead of 1/4).
