Zek is a former student from an Alexian University. A compulsive gambler, he got behind on his loans and moved East to try to strike it rich by looting formerly occupied settlements that were abandoned to the mysterious Plague in the region. He met Kib Absold's group in a small village East of Draglet after he had been injured.
