Equatorial Ocean

One of the three oceans, north of the mainland. It is alternately referred to as the Barrier Ocean, Belt Ocean, or the Ocean Wall. These names come from the savage, everlasting storms that blow westerly across the ocean, fed from the regular squalls and hurricanes from the Eastern Ocean, forced northward into the Belt Ocean by the Barrier Islands off the coast of Gildenhome. Travel through these storms is essentially impossible, and none know what lies across the Stormwall.
