The town of Tamerlane is the largest urban area of the Tamerlane duchy. It serves as the seat of the duchy and the focal point of civilization in the duchy. Before the establishment of the duchy, it was an independent city in Fresia which was destroyed and whose records were lost to time. The new town was built over and using the ruins of the previous establishment.
