{{Ugly}} climbs down the new pit, gets a stake in the butt, then starts whacking stakes and collects 6 of them. He tosses them back up and we all make it back to the other hall. | |||

The door to the East has a force field in front of it, door is closed - there is a lever that has a chain and a lock on it holding it in the upward position outside of the force field | |||

{{Mahina}} steps forward to talk to it and as soon as she steps near it, it starts screaming “YOU CAN’T BREATHE!” and poison gas starts filling the room. | |||
The party runs from the room and escapes! | |||
{{Tempest}} gets the feeling that the person who built this was a seasoned adventurer who thinks a lot like the party in general does. | |||

They see the room with the forcefield. It looks like a dormitory, complete with dead bodies. | |||
{{Book}} sends in his psicrystal. It sees a third dead body. | |||
{{Ugly}} goes into the room. {{Mahina}} sits outside in the hallway with {{Tempest}} and writes in her journal. | |||
{{Book}} excitedly walks into the library. | |||
{{Merry}} detects magic and {{Book}} detects psionics. They find 2 magic potions, a magic wand, and one psionic want. | |||
They find 33 gold, 22 silver in their own pouches. | |||
Psicrystal hears nothing behind the door. | |||
The door is locked. {{Ugly}} uses the key to unlock the door. | |||
The psicrystal finds a Facebook guy in the room, but he is completely immobile and behind a forcefield. | |||
Guy has no eyes but otherwise looks like a normal 5’7” man. His eyes are wounds & he’s wearing a robe. | |||
{{Book}} tries to mindlink and there is nothing there. So we believe he is probably undead. | |||
{{Mahina}} pulls the lever to bring back down the forcefield. She peeks in the room & the rest of the party tells her that she’s doing a great job outside. So she shrugs and goes back to the hallway to write in her journal. | |||

He starts to walk towards the door. {{Book}} yells at him. The guy looks frightened. | |||
{{Merry}} casts Calm Emotions but it doesn’t affect undead. | |||
It sounds like an old dialect of languages we kind of, almost know but we could not understand what he was mumbling. | |||
He starts to back up a little and reaches out. | |||
{{Tempest}} meets his reach and touches his hand. He is surprised to feel a warm, feminine grasp. He looks even more surprised when the party starts talking. | |||
{{Book}} says hi to him in all languages he knows. | |||
{{Book}} has established a mindlink with the guy from the past. It appears that they are having a conversation that the rest of the party cannot hear. | |||
{{Book}} relays the conversation to the rest of the party sans {{Mahina}}. | |||
From the information they gathered with their new ally, it seems they must go through the windy tunnel to reach the tower’s master. | |||
The Tower Master had crazy amount of potions, guy gives other information about the tower. The party rests and talks to their new friend to help him acclimate to everything. | |||

The party just had fun wading through acid.
Questing
Beyond the Skeleton Key door
Book mentions that we could fill up some vials with the acid.
Merry recalls he has the empty vial from the rogue that killed that guy.
