Did all that mayor + swamp random + lizard elder snatch and grab stuff happen in a single day? Hmm. Well, when this is broken into days 32 is the last day of Heavenfall, followed by the 5 day Period of Renewal, which then leads to the 32 day month of Verdant (High Spring. Yeah, we had early morning coffee in the War Room, tricked Lodz out of the place in afternoon, teleported into Mayor's house, teleported near swamp, and marched to lizard man camp. Busy day, I guess? If you want a day between trolls and harpies, I can add that. I don't remember one.

• Party teleports into Mayor's mansion bent on killing him
• The party has Lodz completely surrounded and pounds on him to death.
• Enlarge cast on  Mose and  Quinalin
• We fight two Flesh golems, fire used to slow them, they fall to the team.

In this Episode

• The party continues their rampage through the Mayoral mansion
• They come into a woman's room and she starts lightning bolting  Quinalin
  •  Al summons a swarm of spiders on her
  • Woman looks somewhat like the Mayor (daughter?)
  • Woman casts lightning bolt to blast  Quinalin
  •  LE paralyzes the woman
  •  LE blinds the woman
  •  Germain decides to not try to knock her out and slices her, failing coup de grace
  •  LE deafens the woman
  •  Quinalin succeeds with maximum critical damage roll to coup de grace her

  • A thoqqaa was summoned by  Al and attacks -- slows golem
  • A fire beetle (cute) was summoned by  LE and attacks -- slows golem
  •  Quinalin and  Mose beat on the golem,  Kimika and  Al heal people
  •  Quinalin finishes the golem

• The party hears adult crying to the south
  • Party opens the doors and smells terrible filth, finds the Mayor sniveling and afraid
  • Party kills the Mayor in dishonest combat, though  Mose was too big to fit in the room to see how he was slain.
  • Party finds a signet ring and  Germain takes it
• Party decides to explore the mansion further (uh-oh...)
• Crazy Clay golem was found in a room!
  • Party starts to get pwn3d and makes for an escape
  • Party tries to run,  Germain gets beaten down but  Kimika heals him
  • Party teleports into the swamp! (Without  Al who will need to meet them later.)
•  Al flies out a window
•  Al flamestrikes the mansion to try to burn it down

Freeing Wydmoor of the Evil Mayor

• Party decides to continue on without healing all the cursed wounds from the Clay Golem
• Party runs into 4 swamp trolls that get fireballed and attacked, etc
  • Party kills them, 600 xp for party, 700xp for Germain instead
• Party runs into 10 harpies
  • One is a Harpy Queen with a crown made out of finger bones
  •  Quinalin and  Germain get entranced by harpies!
  •  LE takes Queen down with magic missiles (and help from everyone else of course)
  • Loot
    • +1 bow of +1d6 cold damage found, goes to  Germain
    • Ring of protection +1 found,  LE has it

• (Mose and Quin got Max critical attack bonus this game)
• Party sees 8 orcs and 4 lizard men, they sneak past them
• Party finds the lizardmen camp and sees half-and-half orcs and lizardmen
  • The Lizard Man chieftain of the camp is crucified and still there
  • His body doesn't seem to have decayed at all, bizarre
  • Al hears a whisper in his head, something like "Recover my body." Pretty sure this is from the dead Lizard chief.
  • Germain discerns that the Lizard Folk in the camp seem like they don't really want to be in the position they're in (helping the orcs)
  • Party sets up a bizarre large trap to capture orcs. Al (as a badger) digs a long trench, then Quin hides it and sets some traps in front of it.
  • Quin wants to sneak in through invis and recover the guy's corpse
  • The entire team learns a new bird call that Al teaches us
  • Leader orc has a long spear
  • Al gives a rousing speech in the Lizard Folk language. Think Azim from the end of "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves." Tries to get Lizard Folk to rise up against their orc oppressors, but only succeeds in getting them to do nothing. Good enough. Al gets the "Time for Plan B" achievement for botching his roll for this speech (rolled a 2).
  • LE casts magic missile and annoys a few orcs
  • Orc leader tries to give orders. Orcs start advancing toward Al, Kimika, and Germain.
  • Al yells counter-orders in orcish ("There are hundreds of them! Run for your lives!") to see if he can confuse them and cause panic
  • Germain shoots one with a frost arrow and kills it
  • LE fires a fireball and obliterates 8 orcs in one shot!
  • The Lizardmen congregate in the middle of the camp, not taking part in the battle.
  • Quin succeeds in invisibly untying the body of Lizardman chief and carrying him off, unnoticed.
  • Mose runs out and somehow the Lizardmen recognize him and stop running towards the pit trap
  • Al calls down the wrath of god and nature on the orc leader (Flame Strike)
  • Orc Leader falls into the pit and gets magic missile and ice arrowed on the ground
  • Al summons a lion, then both jump into the pit and kill the Orc Leader together
