Benefit: After one hour of study over a magic item, you may make a Knowledge (Arcana) check to determine its function. The DC of this roll is 20, plus 1 for every 2,000 gold pieces of value, rounded down. (ex: a +2 sword would have a DC of 24, while a +5 sword would have a DC of 45.)
