Next game will start exactly where we left off. The town is booby trapped, the Odessan Vanguard | |||
and their Hobgoblin allies are marching down the road from Iros Forge, but have been bogged down | |||
for a couple of days by Al's harrassment tactics. The army is currently only a couple of days out, | |||
and they are probably now wise to Al's tomfoolery. Remember that big long storm that just went | |||
away one day? If these guys have a hand in it, a sixth level druid by himself will not be | |||
difficult to deal with. | |||

Questing

- During camp at the end of this day, another hobgoblin attack while most of us are asleep (Battle map start)

- Find 3x Cure mod potions, 5 more bows, and more electrum.

- Wake. No encounters.
6-1 Heavenfall
- Wake and move on to another ambush.
- Hobgoblin entangled the spellcasters
- Germain goes unconscious being a arrow magnet
- Kimi's spiritual hammer, Mose's bow, Quin's bow, and Al's call lightning make long work of them.
- Obtained 10 new Mighty Longbows of Odessan make.

7-1 Heavenfall
- We find what is probably the entrance to forges.
- Al eavesdrops as a rat and listens to hobgoblin sentries
- Reports that a humanoid with almond-shaped eyes yelled at them.
- He was wearing a fairly black outfit that made it seem like he was melding into shadows somewhat
- We ambushed hobgoblins and killed them with cool spells like Bless, Prayer, etc.
Surprise the Hobgoblin Sentries Battle (for All):

- Al dinged.
- Another set of hobgoblins are coming down while we try to rest
- Quin sets a noise trap that we notice as hobgoblins come down the pass
- We ambush them again, pretending temporarily to be the normal sentries.
- Quin rushes past them while they're surprised and cleaves a couple from behind.
- Al meditates through the whole battle, completely undisturbed.
Surprise the Marching Hobgoblin Battle (for All):

8-1 Heavenfall
- We discover the forge is overrun by a human and hobgoblins with an Odessan standard.
- We tell Naprid via campfire.
- We decide to head back down the mountain as quickly as we can.
- We force march faster than normal. Traps, etc.
9-1 Heavenfall
- Next day passes without incident.
10-1 Heavenfall
- Not being pursued by hobgoblins
11-1 Heavenfall
- Make it another night
12-1 Heavenfall
- Germain gets a tweet from Edrell.
- "HOBGOBLINS ATTACK. HEADHUNTER OPERATION. INFILTRATION AGENTS. FALSE FLAG. MANY KILLED."
- We call Naprid-- we got a message. He'll check into it.
- Quin sets really nice traps.
- The hobgoblins disguised as humans. Pretended to be Mayor's men from the forge.
- They tried to kill mayor and Edrell. But both survived, many of city council died.
- Almost back.
13-1 Heavenfall
- We make it to Yalmrith.
For making it down the mountain (all):

- Another tweet, Edrell is okay. Dandrell is okay. Teodora is okay. Lots of the mayors folk dead. Looks like they were trying to take out the city elite in one go. Assassination mission.
14-1 Heavenfall
- Everyone stays in an inn
- Bathes a bit
- We told the Alderman that the hobgoblins took over the forge and attempted to kill the Mayor.
15-1 Heavenfall
- Al saw an army 3 days up the mountain.
- The party decides to tell the Alderman. He runs away to go pack and evacuate.
- They find the Sheriff and tell him so town can evacuate.
- Al casts Spine Growth and Plant Growth to slow down army multiple days on their trek down the mountain.
- Kimika and Quin lay glyphs and traps to kill army soldiers as they come out of the mountain pass exit into Yalmrith.
- Party plans to head out soon...
