Summary
You have a keen eye for enchantments, and are sometimes able to figure out the nature of magical items on your own.
Prerequisites
Ability to cast Detect Magic, Knowledge (Arcana): 8 Ranks
Benefit
After one hour of study over a magic item, you may make a Knowledge (Arcana) check to determine its function. The DC of this roll is 20, plus 1 for every 2,000 gold pieces of value, rounded down. (ex: a +2 sword would have a DC of 24, while a +5 sword would have a DC of 45.)
Special
A failed roll may not be repeated until the character gains another rank in Knowledge (Arcana).
