A note/clarification with this: Is the full path of a move declared before AoOs are resolved, or only the path up to the AoO? This feat becomes a bit less useful if the possessor doesn't have some surety as to the destination of the person generating the AoO. -Slitherrr

I'd say it's still usually clear if someone else is going to pull of an AoO after you. A bit less useful, perhaps, but as long as the standard threat range is a 5' bubble, it ought to be ok. I'd assume if you did an aid another, then whatever the next AoO would be would get the bonus. Like maybe tripping someone up as they pass? -gm

Well, I'm not sure we're on the same page, here, but you do bring up a good point in referencing 5', because it reminds me that "aid another" can actually be said to be targeting the enemy, rather than the friendly who that enemy engages. Since it's generally only done during the action, rather than as an interrupt, the distinction usually isn't meaningful, but here it matters. With this interpretation, we can rule the Aid Another as taking effect on the next non-self friendly the hindered combatant engages. This, notably, will NOT affect the next friendly AoO on the hindered guy--the enemy doesn't necessarily engage people he provokes AoO's from. -Slitherrr

Would the aid another roll last until the ally's next action or is it only useful for subsequent AoO rolls? I assume it is added to the next thing they do.
