The time from the creation of the world until the entry of the [[Dark Fiend]] into the world is generally known as the "Primal Age". Primary knowledge of the period is virtually non-existant, as writing had not yet passed into the hands of of the goodly races, nor had urbanity or, in general, agriculture. It is generally seen as a time of idyllic and peaceful time, when all of the elements of creation functioned in perfect balance and the [[Eight Makers]] watched passively from their celestial halls.
