Intelligent/neutral shapechangers related to Aranea, but transform into small or tiny humanoids
Not actually Fey, but were mistaken for them early on by sages, who thought there spider form was a special trick.
Webs are just as magical as they are, highly prized crafting item in Fresia.
Strong disdain for tree-chopping and invasive humanoids.
Yet have much love for magic items, so they are shrewd traders with other shapechangers, druids, and brave members of the barbarian tribes.
Usually found with Aranea, hidden in small tree colonies sprinkled throughout the Ulan.
