So, Kib's only a level and a couple thousand XP from Field Marshall. Given the area-of-effect stuff of the Field Marshall, we might want to seriously think about making the transition to d20pro, with its vastly superior effect handling. -Slitherrr

Whoah, cool-- another d20pro consideration. Did you guys get to play with it some? I have a call in the next few days with the developers of it so I can convince them to give me a source license so we can make some tweaks to it. -Mattie

Anyway, I haven't coordinated with Jones to play around with it much, I've just heard through the grapevine that certain parts of it are vastly superior. -Slitherrr

I ran half a mini-game with it and it's better in some ways and worse in others. Biggest issue is that players can't change their own character sheets. 2nd biggest (related) issue is that the GM ends up doing a good bit more work (since the game is setup as having the GM be a control freak). After that, I think pretty much everything else is ultimately superior or equal. Many things make the GM's life easier, but in the end I think there's slightly more work for the GM and less work overall for the players.
