I joked about not asking about it in MFC, but really, it's going to come up. How protective would Anise be about teaching this language? Does nobody know it (and/or have written records of it) just because Elves have been gone for so long, or because they (or someone) made an effort to wipe it out? -Slitherrr

I can't think of any reason she would be protective of the language... She's fairly practical, but she has also been very tightly bottled up for the last several years so might have some.. emotional issues to work through. -Feantari

As far as that goes, the page doesn't actually say nobody on the Mainland knows it, only that it can only be gained through learning (excepting our two PC Elves). Are there records extant on the Mainland in Sidhe, and maybe even one or two non-native, academic Sidhe scholars who know the language? -Slitherrr

Related, Kib's background indicates that he takes notes on the languages he learns in his journal, but he wouldn't necessarily for the sake of keeping Anise's identity secret, or alternatively, maybe he would note it in a code, or get some way of casting secret page, or both. I would actually imagine this would be less of a big deal in this campaign, and instead have his journal be a cool object that could pop up in a future (?) campaign/story. -Slitherrr
