Docks district - More popular establishments include the Swift Clipper, the Three-legged Stool, the Strawberry Tart, the Ugly Gnome, and the Leaky Bilge.

South side - The establishments on the South side serve the local well off inhabitants and are similarly well heeled I terms of quality accommodations, food, beverages, and entertainments. Noteable gathering places are the Circle - a round tavern with a huge common room and stage that serves as a reasonable quality theatre in addition to fine tavern; the Red Chalice - a haven for vinophiles; the Hops Hall - actually the brewers guildhall, but this huge tavern serves all comers with high quality ales; the Golden Dice - a combination tavern, inn and posh gambling den; the Double Bed - the best known and priciest Inn in the city also known for the cook and her specialty slow-roasted quail amount others; the Woolen Stocking - known for its high priced escorts but also a quality tavern.

North side - housing the middle class, such as it is the ale is generally less watered in this district and the brawls infrequent. Noteable establishments: the Broken Wheel - a cozy inn of moderate price and better than average accommodation; the Tankard - this uncreatively named tavern serves craftsmen reasonably priced good ale day in and day out; Stone Soup - this Inn and tavern always has a pot of stew or soup going and competes with both the Tankard and Broken Wheel for an honest meal and place to sleep.

Outside the Walls - some of the many taverns in is districts are nothing more the open-aired sheds with a keg and a tough proprietor trying to keep e thieves from overruning it. Some of the larger and more permanent places of note: the Lucky Button - a large Inn and tavern just past the security checkpoint where any race could be met in the large common room, the largest accommodations in Wessia; the Back Woods - near another security checkpoint and the only one open at night, it serves woodsman and farmers just coming I for the evening to get a drink; the Giant Keg - probably the roughest tavern in the city, this is a giant open-air fenced beer garden fully of drunks, thieves, beggars, thugs, and lovers of cheap ale, the occasional cock or prize-fight and fresh air; the Tunnel - a smaller tavern with even a few rented rooms, it boasts several entrances to the Underground in its basement, and consists of several long strangely-shaped rooms that give it a more intimate feel even for a large establishment.
