Calvis Wydsomme is the patriarch of the Wydsomme family and the Mayor of Wydmoor. He is a cunning and powerful man in his late 60s with a reputation for being demanding and retributive. By trade, he is a vintner and distiller. However, as member of one of the powerful First Families of Wydmoor, his holding and business interests extended far beyond his occupation, most notably to the mines of Iros Forge and the Wydmoor Bank.
As the mayor, Calvis has been quite successful, serving 13 out of the last 20 terms. He is particularly popular amongst the entrenched elite and wealth guildsmen of the city, and has represented their interests quite well during his tenure. Not surprisingly, this favoritism for the upper class has alienated many of lower and middle class members of the city--he is distrusted by the merchants and despised by the poor.

- Jazasan Arrasti, a Wydmoor vintner specializing in fine spirits
