Captain Proust is a tireless and pious Ubreki commander with more than twenty years service in the guard. He gets along very well with Anton and tolerates no threats to the Ubreki aristocracy's privilege from the lower classes. As a result he is well respected by the aristocracy and is accorded the social standing like a well established merchant.
