is a wealthy Independent master-craftsman, owner of a pair of brickworks outside of the city. His two mayoral terms saw strong popular support and major attempts at reform, most of which were stymied by the conservative council or rolled back under almost a decade of Wydsomme rule. When his daughter was kidnapped by the thieves' guild as political ransom, he refused to stand for election and instead undertook an arduous personal quest with two others to free her.
