After discovering the betrayal of Edrell, our intrepid adventurers are hurrying on their way to stop an attack on the city that will doom Wydmoor. Only Mose is unaware what transpired, as he was put to sleep. The other team members are steaming with anger. The note they were left with was:
Edrell: Take the woman alive, she is my sister! (Half-elf assumed).
Rushing to Battle
Germain recommends not telling 
Mose about what has transpired, because Mose was put to sleep before Edrell had his say.
Quinalin awakens Mose. Tells him "Edrell screwed us over, but we gotta go to save 5000 people!"- Party goes through the Not-Gate to travel to the City Mage's Keep
- Quinalin tells an acolyte to tell
Naprid: "City is under the attack! Also, your fire charm was stolen." - The party summarizes Edrell's intel: "Small group of insurgent agents. Spare the life of the woman, it's his sister."
- The enemy attack will be on the teleport shield in the City Mage's Keep.
- The party buffs before going up into the Keep and grows their buffs as they move through. (Buff List)
City Mage's Tower
- They party enters the City Mage's Tower only to find that the gate is already down... (Battle map.)
- As the Silverwalkers continue through the tower, There are signs of battle. The normal sentinels here, the clay and iron golems, have been destroyed by attackers.
- The party makes their way up in the tower, trying to find the teleport ward to protect it. It's a rush to save the ward before it's too late.
Defending the Teleport Ward
- The party reaches the room with the teleport ward. Pulses of magic and energy come out of the center into the pillars.
- Bad guys are discovered! Silverwalkers attack!
- Opponent List:
- Quiniton (Human) has two shortswords, pretty crazy
- Sandrigal - Human. Gigantic, makes Quin look like a midget. Has a HUGE greatsword.
- Half-Elven Woman -
- 15ft sized half-elven woman
- Wearing armor
- Head is glowing orange.
- Lose-fitting flowing robes
- Spiked Chain, made of iron wood. Green with little thorns. Very long, each link is green iron wood not metal. On the end of the chain is glowing bright entice pink, crystal. Carved in the shape of the head of a rose. Brilliant energy that ignores all armor.
- Uriah Withers - Human. Head is glowing orange.
- Rolf Barton - Heavy Crossbow guy. Human.
- Theodocious - Very sturdy, brawny. Human.
Battle ensues
Kimika casts Bane
- -1 for Sandrigal
- -1 for someone else
- Quinalin Trips Sandrigal! Makes follow-up attack.
- Theodocious swings and misses.
LE fireballs!- Scary Half-Elf Giant appears out of nowhere with wicked spiked chain!
Al casts Ice Storm to smash the casters- Quinalin runs into the ice storm but they continue to survive
- LE casts Phantasmal Killer and kills Uriah
- One of the baddies briefly sees LE as she casts PK. He runs up and hits her.
- Al summons a Rhinoceros. It charges the baddie who's attacking LE and rips him apart with its horn.
- Al casts Faerie Fire on the half elf to negate her blur.
- Al summons a Satyr with Pipes, but its charm attempt fails.
- Mose hits the half-elf hard, determined to end this somehow.
- Kimika yells "We don't want to kill you! Edrell told us to spare you!" In the confusion, it is difficult to tell if she is heard and heeded.
- Half-elf teleports further away in the room, nearly dead.
- LE casts Magic Missile and kills the half-elf!

Surprise cliffhanger
After the battle, Al goes to search the half elf. As he gets closer, something in his backpack starts moving around. He opens it to check, and Mulligan, his death-defying ivory swan figurine, pops out as a normal-looking swan. It waddles over to the half elf and sits on her chest.
