Germain's Leadership Feat Ideas
What to do with the leadership feat when I take it. Right now, this is a space for thinking about cohorts, followers, and organizations that the G-man might take on.
Cohort: Watson
Germain is pretty smart and educated guy, but his real power comes from his understanding of human mind. A good sidekick could augment this with the technical and cerebral skills that are not in Germain's wheelhouse. If we are going high int here, he should also bring some magical investigation skills to the party.
- Wizard/Professional
- Accomplished doctor--high heal skill for analyzing corpses
- Focused on knowledge and research skills to complement Germain's people skills
- Specialist diviner--secondary focus on abjuration
- May eventually pursue the Loremaster prestige class
- Probably a bit safe and conservative as a foil to Germain's risk-taking
- My favorite option
Cohort: Hawk
Germain understands what it's like to be a criminal, but he also knows that the consequences are huge--betrayal, secrecy, and fear. A good sidekick might have been a professional criminal who was won over after an encounter with Germain. This guy would be more physical, with the ability to aid Germain with combat and criminal skills.
- Rogue/Fighter
- Strong combat skills to complement Germain
- Spotting, listening, breaking and entering
- Utility guy for "problem-solving" on a more physical level
- Still has some good social manipulation skills so he isn't a liability
- I was hoping Cinnamon might could fit the bill one day :(
Cohort: Don Draper
Germain has political ambitions, and could use someone to promote his image about town. For this, he might make use of a spin-doctor or promoter to create propaganda (songs, stories, posters), give speeches, and represent Germain. Magical skills that might make him more able to create and broadcast magical "media" would be a great asset.

- A variety of performance and craft skills
- Focused on communication and illusion magic
- To be interesting, would have to be less shady than Germain
