Ally with the Riddermark Family
- Silverwalkers needs some noble backing, and this family has a lot to gain due to recent events and the Silverwalker's deeds
- Justification
- They already have a leg up in the Swamp through their industries, and allies with the silverwalkers/lizardmen could really keep them ahead of the competition in the frontieers of the Swamp
- Currently don't have a large stake in the Iros Forge mines, and the conflict in this city could give them leverage to take a bigger peice after the war
- Strategies
- Germain would try to use relationship with Astlen Mead to arrange meetings with the Family's leaders
- Have Germain teach Lizardmanlander and Lizardman culture, and facilitate a relationship between the two
- Family has strong representation from naturalists, geologists, and soldiers that could learn a lot training with Al
- Already known as a military family and a grain donor, they could assume the leadership/training roles among the militia without having to overcome too much ill will
- Specifically, this would give them reason to assert that they were instrumental in saving the city and (hopefully) liberating the mines, and that they are entitled to a larger share than they previously had
Turn the city against the Wydmoor Thieves' Guild
- These guys hate hate hate us, and I guess they are also evil, and we need to beat them by hook or by crook
- Convince the city!
- Convince the city that they robbed the bank while we were fighting off the Odessans in the Magus Tower, and clearly had a tremendous amount to gain now that they robbed the bank
- Edrell died trying to stop them!
- They used the guards/silverwalkers to open up trading routes so that they would have a mechanism to move stolen bank goods out of the city during the Siege
- Convince the city that they robbed the bank while we were fighting off the Odessans in the Magus Tower, and clearly had a tremendous amount to gain now that they robbed the bank
- Attack plans
- Harried by Temple Guardians in the swamp
- Start collecting info on all the guild members in the guard--especially with respect to their plans
- Edrell might give us some useful info in a few months
- Hopefully it will pay off that I spent so many skill points on social skills with the Geese
Root out the heretic vampires
- This guy is bigger than the thieves guild, even if he does end up being in charge of it, and he is a badass that will kill us dead
- Plans
- Be very guarded about this information--so far we've only told Edrell I think, and we don't need to go mouthing off that we know about this
- Try to get some research done--maybe better access to the Halls of Law, the Magus Keep, and private noble libraries could help us with this
- Can we start an inquisition?
- That's not exactly low profile. -gm
