A title that originally applied to the supreme leader of the Bedouin peoples of [[Petera]], the [[Moon Children]]. With the ascension of [[Sayid ibn Maimun]] to the throne of [[Petera]], it also became associated with his royal line. While it is rarely applied in this context, it is still used within the [[Barbarians]] of [[The Ulan]] that descend from the followers of Sayid's adopted child and heir [[Mikos Lygit]].

While Peterans recognize Sayid as the only Ishkan, the title was also used by Mikos Lygit in exile, and he is recognized as the last Ishkahn by the Bedouins and Tribes of Ulan.
