Notes for Game 2009-11-27

Questing

Edrell meets with them in the morning and tries to convince them to fight the Thieves' Guild.
After some arguing (of course), Mose is won over, and they agree to pursue the guild.
Edrell tells us to go the grist mill and meet someone. A pair of old friends named Gil and Holm. They can reveal where Fynn may be or someone who knows.
He tells us where the grist mill is.

Date: 1st of New Year, 1401

Climate: Beginning of Thaw

Team buys lots of potions
Team heads to Grist Mill to the south
Mose reveals Way his new special mount, warhorse.
They get to the place, Al turns into raccoon and looks around the mill entrance. See pic
The team walks in and a small trap goes off and misses Quin.
Kimi sings Enthrall and stuns a waiting group of baddies (aside from one, Cinammon)
The party makes short work of them with subdual attacks, knocking them all out.
Holm and Gil drop down from the ceiling of the top of the mill. They are vampires.
LE casts Haste which makes the party awesome.
Mose used hasty attacks and smite evil to make short work of Holm (vampire)
Quin got level drained two times by Gil (vampire)
Quin got mentally controlled by Gil and he slammed Mose for 38 points of surprise critical damage.
Al and others take down Gil, freeing Quin
Quin is horrified that he attacked the party.
They found:
- Everwand of Light, 5 times per day
- Some potions and scrolls, nonmagical rings
- 60,000 copper
- 2800 electrum
The party lost electrum, 700 gold of Kimi's to cure Quin of lost levels
The party carried back about 30,000 worth of copper
Germain stayed at the mill and interrogated the bandits who we tied up.
The party spent 12,000 copper for Kimi to identify the wand.
Quin dinged and got a level!
