This game

Lots of chatting.

  • Plan is to research thieves guild, be prepared if they come after us again.
  • Smuggle refugees into city, after healing them with the supplies taken from the Odessan priests
    • Edrell agrees to back us up!

We need to feed the needy. Feed the Masses spell can do like 2000, Create Food and Water does 120 more.

  • Egg sent a bunch of people to Sherdam to sell lots of loots
  • 20-30,000gp!


Ralth left immediately after Marwyn took office

  • Why did Ralthdo that?
  • Ralth and Marwyn Collar were lovers when Mathrell was the Arch-warden (RUMOR)
  • For reasons unknown, when she became the Arch-warden he left the city to take over command of the Bog Wraiths from Naprid.
  • Wydmoor was freed by church decree in the far past as part of a deal brokered with the Dwarven faction during an interregnum.
    • Original Wydmoor rebellion grew out of a heresy, probably in older quest notes?
  • Edrell has another idea for getting out of the city (?????)
  • 4000 refugees alive, mostly the youngest and fittest
    • 2700 are fighting age and strength

(Egg doesn't like someone named Tiberius - DM: his old master, it's in his backstory)

  • Al flies to the lizardmen!
  • Asks them if he has control of Dragon Turtles.
  • Nope. I can, though, if you go and kill the hydra for us!
  • Al flies back. No time.

Plan proposal?

  • 1a. LE+Egg+1SilverGoose teleport with two scrolls and hat to Ubrekt City to purchase only food and 2 teleport scrolls
    • Egg is given 2800 of gp from party on top of the money they have
    • Egg and LE totally do something totally different without consulting anyone and make a big score.

1b. Mose & Kimi perform ritual

  • 1a. Becomes a Traveler. Swaps out Knowledge for Travel domains.
  • 1c. Al flies to Landing with wands
  • 2. Kimi traveler teleports Mose & Quin to Landing

We get refugees back up to health

  • 10xp for every spell cast, either creating food or the disease, 2xp for cantrips
  • They teleport with scroll back with weapons and food for the march
  • Egg + Silver Geese equip and train refugees

Silver Walkers take out hydra with Traveler teleport (Did this get done off camera or something?)

  • We march to south tip of lake
  • Turtle + Silver Walkers + LE Artillery break large hole in soft southern siege line
  • This was an aborted plan yes?


Army marches to Magius Keep

  • Goes through Not-Gate
  • We all yell "SURPRISE" to Bog Wraiths people working in the basement of the Cathedral.
  • Almost all humans
  • Very few halflings remain, most fled south to Ubrekt, passing through the border defenses by claiming their halfling sanctuary
  • On day 6 evening, Egg and LE and Astlin come back with lots of mules
    • Astlin looks really pissed
    • As cheap as it is, we went to Flannary where grain was really cheap. On all the mules, 5x of grain expecting.
    • I know we're really late but crazy
    • Hat came back fully charged
    • Dropds 6 bags, Type2 bags of holding, 2000 infantry, 1500 spear, 10,000gp - 3500gp - 5000gp - refund for some infantry and spear stuff
    • Quinalin +2 STR Belt
  • Egg suggests burning the landing and Quin agrees to do that.
    • Don't want Odessans to occupy

We round up all the spies Germain (?) roots out.

  • We hold them and they're all spy, and they all 'fess to the spies
  • But they can't give much info on what they're doing

2xwands

Kimika crafts a Periapt of Health and we use it to cure disease on all of the remaining refugees.

Day 6 we cross the water and razed the city

Day 7 we march

Horsemen coming towards us, Ubrekti soldiers

Germain rolls 50 on diplo check. (Achievement Unlocked?)

Day 8 control water to cross the river

Day 9, how do we handle the seige lines?

  • They have arms and armor on
  • Lots of Summon Herd and fireballs to make it past the siege lines
    • Morning Mist, too

We get them through to the keep

  • 4000gp lost, Edrell wants a passwall rune from the runemaster dwarf for his help. Can't run the errand himself at present. Is avoiding the war room.
  • We got 2 teleport scrolls in exchange
  • Everyone came through the not-tunnel!
  • Some of the people are also supporting Silver G's and Silver K's and 1-2 are sporting Silver Wheels (traveler)
  • Had to occupy the cathedral temporarily to march these guys out!
  • We marched them all to the warrens
    • Edrell tells us someone broke in the bank.

Edrell is the MOLE!

  • We find out Edrell stole all the money in the bank
  • There's a portal there if we need it
  • Mose runs through a portal after them

SLEEPY MOSE!

Discover most of the trinkets items Edrell has given them over have been trojan'd. (vs Edrell only. Need an Analyze Deowmer to get to the bottom of it, Egg suggests)

Boots, -2 Fort Save

Ring -2 will save

Haversack, -2 will save (Really? Pretty sure this one is not cursed. If I said so, I mixed this up with the sust ring he gave you by proxy. The haversack is one of the many he had laying around in anticipation of the heist, so it should not be trapped, but I'm sure mose will AD it just to make sure.)

Edrell is

Edrell has several portable holes placed around the room, plus a bag of holding

  • Gold from the vault leaps into the bag (ring of telekinesis) and portable holes.

Portable hole + Bag of holding = Edrell has MAD capability as last resort.

Dandrell and Edrell may be the same people, as Germain has suspected

  • Though, why would Edrell make germain transport the temple silver to an empty house?

Money is going in the holes!

Edrell comes prebuffed

  • Edrell's skin is gray and pebbly
  • He's indistinct, matter from the ethereal plane
  • Opaque magical force (Armor and Shield)
    • Almost as if he planned for all our weaknesses!

I know this looks bad but it's not what you think

Yes, the Odessans think that I'm their mole. But I've played them as well as I've played you. I've burnt everyone.

Quin: What about Mose what did you do to him?

LE: I'm good and I don't want what's in the box. She throws the papers aside

LE throws them down dramatically

I promise you the box is not trapped

Germain REALLY believes it cannot be trapped

LE throws the pearl to the ground, loses a magic item ACHIEVEMENT (which?)

LE spits in the direction

The bank of rich, the bank of those who would strangle the people of wydmoor

If you don't care about the bank, but instead care about Wydmoor

I've given everything you need to slip all of the evil out of the city

The commoners I've helped you smuggle into this town

Edrell has been scamming them all along.

  • He is a half-elf, not human
  • The ears have been bitten off
  • He was never drunk, but weeks of cultivation of beards
  • He has played us from the first moment

If you think this is all I have on you. Kimika gets 25xp for asking why he wants the money

Mose is correct, some people came in with the people. My people, not Odessans

  • The Odessans still don't know that I burnt them. I gave them just enough info to smuggle inside.
    • In order to set up an impossible choice for the silverwalkers, no doubt. Let Edrell escape justice for all the damage he's caused - and getting rich as three kings in the process - or attack (and probably kill him) and be too weak to fight off the Odessan strike force.
    • Once everyone the Magus tower is abandoned, how long will it take for people (more Odessans) to come through the tunnel?

Edrell

  • On his left hand, he has 5 rings
  • One is Mayor's ring
  • One is the exchequer's ring
  • One of them is the Magus ring
    • These four rings were keys that were required to open the inner vaults. All had to be used, boomer sub style, to get access.

25xp for Quinalin Quin pulls out a torch and lights it. He tries to puts the Naprid stone in there but Edrell's TK ring nixes that.

  • Germain believes that Edrell will probably NOT win, but two of the party will die as Edrell has threatened.

Or, I can tell you right now where the infiltrators will attack, and you can kill them and become heroes of Wydmoor.

  • Germain believes him, now that he is no longer getting a penalty for trying to read a half elf using human paradigms.
  • Edrell will fake his death if needed.
  • If you kill me now, we've been tied at the hip. Won't everyone think that I'm the traitor?
  • You can kill me now or you can help the people
  • Who will be blamed? The person who was killed? Or the person who led them in the city

Mose went to sleep, all that the items I gave you have trojan spells within them. If you had cast a dwoemer analysis you would have noticed them.

  • The longer that we talk, the longer chance that the infiltrators will get in and kill important people
  • Do you shake the devil's hand and save the city and cover up for my death?

Edrell's Parents?

  • "Even now the hand halfling seek her replacement."
    • My mother was a Grotesque (someone in a freak show)
    • He is a bastard of an elf, so how she reproduced we don't know
    • He shows his ear mangled ears, normally hidden by long hair. (Check the photo icon!) This was the first gift from my mother, who taught me to hide what I am."

Quinalin and Al pick up Mose and start carting him out.

  • Edrell sent a tweet to Germain
  • Germain believes the tweet and that he (Edrell) really has burnt everyone on all sides.
  • Who is the other half-elf?

LE takes the scroll case after all, perhaps in light of what she and Egg learned (or failed to learn) in University City.

  • A woman in black armor in the hobgoblin camp, that is Edrell's sister.
