Heh. A mixed blessing, although I suppose it's a barbarian's job to have enough hitpoints to take it. -Slitherrr

The Sword sort of has the same motif, wot with the vicious trait and all. -gm
We'll have to see how this works for germain, who is sort of a sissy. --Msallen 10:09, 14 December 2009 (EST)
I have to admit, I was kind of surprised that Germain was so quick to grab the pincushion shield -gm
It worked like a charm in the end. Best. Cursed. Armor. Ever. --Msallen
I do think you've done a great job making lemons from lemonaide here. It's kind of a "grey" curse from the very outset, though. The barbarian king probably didn't even give a shit about being pelted with arrows, he probably had a DR of like 5. -gm
Yeah, it's not (always) a terrible curse, although Germain has had to chug a whole lot of healing pots because of it. Also, that fight against the orc armies at the Turtle Temple was pretty rough. I think I took over 100 arrows there, and damage from 20+. --Msallen
Well, I think it's a pretty good curse. Especially when you go into negatives and the arrows keep coming -gm
I'm quite fond of it! Great curse. Reminds me--I need to buy some more healing pots/wands. --Msallen
Speaking of DR5, maybe it's wise for Mose to eventually take over this buckler? Just a thought... Mattie 15:11, 5 January 2012 (EST)
In general, yeah, it could be a lot more optimal. The only reason I think Germain can get more utility off it is because it's not really a waste for him to hang in the back protecting Kimmy and LE with it (who cares if Germ isn't on the front line--its not like he can hit or damage the enemies anyways). With my move to NPC, though, it might be time to hand it over. I don't think there is anyone I will be hanging out with in Wydmoor with the healing power to keep me alive if I'm an arrow magnet. --Msallen
