Ok, here he is, minus Favored Class bonuses and any [http://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits traits] (that we may or may not use, since it's GM option). Here's the general rundown:

*Three extra stat points, mostly from the Pathfinder +2 and the fact that our whole party started lower than usual for the groups in this world. They go to Charisma. Dex would be a good place for two of them too, and would make him slightly better at combat, so I'm considering it, but Cha plays into all his best skills and gives him more followers and Will save.

*Thanks to his Fighter splash, he doesn't lose much combat ability from the Pathfinder's lost proficiencies. That all remains almost completely unchanged.

*He loses three points Reflex save, but is able to gain some of it back with an extra Professional Development that he turns into a feat, and he gains a point in Will from the Charisma gain (which could be put into Dex to make it a wash).

*Skills are a big win:

**Not having to put points in Use Rope or Spot gives him a lot of extra to play with.

**Int point gains retroactively gaining skill points nets him a few.

**The class skill rework also is a net gain in a lot of places--mostly skills with just a few points.

**He loses lots of synergies, but is able to make it back in the one skill he really cares about (Diplomacy) with a Skill Focus trait, and the Cha gain puts him ahead there, and evens out losses in his other talky skills, except Sense Motive, which loses out from the change from Negotiator to Persuasive. On the other hand, he does get a gain in Intimidate (not super-useful with Diplomacy around, though).

**He also gets an extra Skill Focus trait from the Human alternate trait, and that plus the extra points plus Linguistics actually being a skill allow him to suddenly become very interesting mechanics-wise in language (although terrible retcon-wise--he suddenly has to come up with reasons for knowing FIVE more languages).

**Favored class bonuses could potentially give him more play here, but it would be fun to do something more interesting with those if we work out alternate FC bonuses for the Professional.

*He comes out a wash, feat-wise, but there's still some play there:

**Basically, he gains a couple of feat slots, but has to use up the extra (for Greater Trip and Lightning Reflexes)-

**Interestingly, the Leadership feat req becomes level 7, but that ends up being fine at the level he gets it from Professional Development.

**He does suddenly gain a lot more interesting options than Ride-By Attack, and since he's never actually even ridden his horse since gaining that feat, I was thinking of switching it out. My alternatives are:

***Use it to get Lightning Reflexes, and let that Professional Development open up to get something interesting (probably Assault Leader, which is FANTASTIC. Give someone else a chance to hit whenever I miss (limited by flanking)!)

***Get Trick Riding (which, despite the name bringing circus performers to mind, is more Kib's speed than RBA, giving him more maneuverability and play with his horse rather than just beefing him up attack-wise)

***Get a teamwork feat (which all make me drool from the complicated tactical synergy, and are much easier to get into play than the Teamwork Benefits I so laboriously copied into this wiki, but still take some coordination and might be more hassle than they're worth)

***Get one of the dozens of other great Pathfinder-only feats. I haven't come close to reading the whole list.

***If I'm willing to let my Reflex save go down two points, I can get the above in addition to a Professional Development, which could also mean a professional bonus feat. That doesn't seem as interesting, though--everything but Assault Leader is more chicanery-based until Executive, which isn't that interesting to Kib)

*Items

**The stonecunning ability becomes a bit easier to use (Perception instead of Search), and loses the ability to divine depth at will (the same goes for Dwarves in general. Imagining that conversion happening instantaneously in-world makes me giggle).

**AC from BP goes up by 1, but he also loses the gain from the reduced max dex bonus, so it evens out. The rest of the armor calculus basically stays the same. One interesting note here is that he'll gain very little from Keen Awareness at level 3 Field Mashall, except the ability to have a respectable AC while naked (which is not a bad deal honestly).

**Tenpence's barding rules change slightly, or at least, it appears there's no such thing as padded barding.

**Damage from his hammer goes up a point, but only at Medium size (because the 1.5 str rules apply to all non-light one-handed weapons now, not just two-handers and hand-and-a-halfers)

*His leadership goes up by one, so FOLLOWERS. Which could very well mean GNOBLIN FOLLOWERS.

All in all, an interesting result, certainly much more in flavor than the Fighter(Tactician) stuff I was playing with before, but also less beefy in combat, with fewer hitpoints, lower BaB, and less CMD/CMB (which makes sense, Kib's role has always been a relatively resilient facilitator and marginal tank rather than a real damage-dealer). -[[User:Slitherrr|Slitherrr]]
