Alright, because of the new Sorc. rules and feat progression, you actually are able to net two wild card feats! I think you're ready to start moving in with Flame Disciple next level, so you might want to look over the basically finalized copy. Here is a pretty huge list of feats: [1]

Some things you might want to look over in Re:Feats is Evolved Familiar, which lets you buy small boosts to your Familiar. Each time you get the feat, you can pick one of the 1 Point evolutions from this table. [2] Don't know how much you want to put into your still nameless little buddy, but that one jumped right out. You can actually take the feat more than once to get multiple 1 pt evolutions, but the 2 pointers are sadly beyond his grasp.

Some other ones I thought were cute:

  • Bouncing Spell
  • Elemental Spell (Turn 1/2 the spell damage into fire damage)
  • Flaring Spell (Dazzle anyone damaged by your fire spells)
  • Intensified Spell (Increases damage dice beyond normal level max)
  • Steel Soul (Dwarf Only: +4 instead of +2 to racial save bonus vs spells)
  • Toppling Spell (Give your Magic Missile a free trip attack)
  • Uncanny Concentration (Autopass concentration due to weather/motion, +2 otherwise.... concentration got a LOT HARDER in Pathfinder.)

Also, not really cute, but functional"

  • Weapon Focus (Ray) (+1 to Hit with Ray)
  • Expanded Arcana (+1 Spell Known - Level 3 spell or lower)
  • Extend Spell (+1 Spell Level, double duration)
  • Elemental Focus (+1 to DC of Fire Spells)
  • Any Other Metamagic Feat you Like

Dragon's Breath has a "dragon scale" as one of its components. Are we waiving that requirement? -Slitherrr

I have never given much concern to material components unless they have actual gp cost.
Yeah, makes sense, and I can't find a cost for "dragon scales", so it must be one of those things just "included in a component sack" or whatever. I think I'm just gobsmacked by how great the spell is. -Slitherrr
I was also reading the 3.5e SRD version, not the PFSRD, and the dragon scale's prominence is heavily diminished in the latter. -Slitherrr
It's pretty good, although there are 4th level spells that are will save or (fort save or die). Also, 30' is not a huge range for a cone. The Pure-Cone spells are like 60+ foot cones, and the Pure-Line spells are like 180 foot instead of 60. By the numbers, it's no better than any of the 3rd level d6-forever spells. -gm
